I think the MHs are good for display, I was looking at the Toynami display at SDCC and they looked good because of the color and the cartoony face sculpts. But when I look at them for a long time, I start to see all the flaws. the really wide shoulders, the thinness of the chest armor in ride armor mode. The boxiness of the bike. And the trasformation is much more like playing with Legos. I think I'm gonna wait for the Beagle and if they come out with the other versions. That should curve my craving for Mospeada goodness as far as the ride armors. I think the Beagles will be the same and has more as far as accessories right? It's gonna be expesnsive though as far as if you want to do customs.... way too expensive. If they lower the price I bet people will collect these like they do Yamatos, which means they'll be buying multiples of these.

I agree about the cloth. I first mentioned it when they first showed it on the prototype that I didn't think it was gonna look good. Plus the red was only suppose to go down to his waist, not all the way down to his knees.

The shape are also different towards the end tip where the missiles are. The TV version look like the Bandai chunky monkey version and the DYRL have three sides like the ones that come with the 1/48 Fast Pack Set. I doubt it. I think the AG is ugly and I feel the same way about the Stampede, though I love the VF-25 version of it. But don't worry the next project will be good...

yes... because of the non-foldable fins the whole GBP was out of proportion, IMO... it was more like 1/40. I sincerely hope that Yamato don't give us oversized shoulders again like they did for the former 1/60 and the 1/48. Both the Thunderhammer and fulcy's vaporware AG had the correct proportioned shoulder missile racks. I don't even care if they used swappable shoulders since the ones on the new 1/60s come off so easily, as long as the armor looks proportioned to the valk. I still love the "1/48" GBP as far as detail, freakin awesome.

I think he used the axe once. I don't remember the shield at all. The cartoons sucked except for the characters' line-art. The comic books that came with the toys didn't have all that Prince Adam crap. And the Attack Trak toy was a lot better than the bus they had in the cartoon... and don't even mention that Orko BS. He's the 7-Zark-7/Ewok of the whole thing.

I thought the same thing. I love the design but I'm not getting any toys unless they make something close to the movie... I never thought they would actually make it... yup... pre-ordered it. I think mine is $160 shipped.
