The BlowSuperior has a pretty different helmet. The sides are squarish and it doesn't have the chin module sticking out. It does have a chin that goes underneath the visor though, unlike the Megahouse version that totally omits it. Not to mention the greenish visor. Houquets has a different visor too, Again, no chin, but it has vents on the side.

It's amazing all the cityscape shots are shot in IMAX and the screen goes into a bigger format. I was sitting towards the front half, center, so it totally filled my eyes. They're gonna stop showing it this week. But I bet they'll bring it back soon since each show was constantly sold out. You had to buy the tickets 2 days in advance... that's for the weekday showings. Weekends you had to get it a week in advance.

Finally saw it on IMAX! Oh man... it was so worth it!

I remember myersjesse recasted a bunch of those figures and had a squadron of them. I love those little figures too. Great detail for a small figure. They also came out with a diecast ride armor figure that was almost to scale.

I worked on the promo for the movie. They had a guy in the car to control all the lights but the car was driven by a follow car.

I don't have the Aoshima but if you look at the MPC Alpha's shoulder joints, it's just the surface plastic holding on to the pivot. yikes! I like the sculpt, but the fit is horrendous. Not to mention all the things that Shin said about materials. I have the Beta pre-ordered only because it's a damn good price from a Toynami hook up.

I actually mailed that out and I got a bunch of goodies. The small Mospeada poster was cool. Original Japanese art but had the robotech logo. That's really begging to be painted... I gotta get one of those again.

The Destroid Monster is vaporware... it was scheduled to be released 4 years ago and then it never appeared. haha, how everything turned out the other way around. Well they came out with a bigger and better YF-19, maybe they're working on a 1/48 Destroid Monster.

no, that was a Yamato merchandise booth from a while back. It could have been a wonderfest. See the 1/48 roy at the top? There's definitely a 1/60 Yamato Monster somewhere out there....

the second run has the original tires because it's part of that mold set. As you can see they also include Stick's head. Just like when they released the Hikaru Super 1S it came with a different DYRL pilot and you can only get it with that set. Everytime they reissued the Roy, they kept the ugly old pilot. And the non canon got the macross 0 pilot as a result of the low viz mold. Exclusives are usually just remolds and repaints as oppose to making new ones.

The Transforming one is a different suit from the one on stage. A japanese guy wears the tranformable one. I think he can even turn it to fighter mode, but at that point he's out of the suit.

VF-1S is kinda complicated to get since you have to customize it yourself from a Roy and a 1A DYRL Max. Oh yeah, the 1J comes only with Super parts since it's the TV version (The strike only appear in the movie version). The DYRL strike parts kit and some special releases come with the strike cannon.
