I don't think he makes a living from his blog I don't know how accurate this is being from wikipedia: but it's all about dedication... I think Graham should put on a flight suit and helmet, or better yet... a Minmay dress and dance around HongKong in front of people to spread Macross love around...

It's funny but as satisfied as I am with this toy (been playing with it all day) I can't recommend it to anyone. I had such low expectations, maybe I'm not so disappointed. But as a warning... the figures arms falls apart everytime you give it a new pose and the hand that holds the gun barely has enough of a connection to stay in place. The last thing I hate is that the Breastplate/Windscreen comes off so easily in motorcycle mode. It's only connected via magnet and not a very strong one. EDIT: Here's a bit of an odd fix that I just did right now. As I said, I have the Sylia one only. I flipped the elbow ball joint upside down and it seemed to have worked... temporarily maybe... I'll keep playing with it. Alls I need is a stronger magnet for the windscreen. And as for the hand... that'll be a challenge.

Well I might be in, I just finished production so I need to find a new one in time to be able to buy toys. I got the sillia figure it's my first one, I'm actually having fun with it. I guess I was expecting them to be smaller from all the reports that I didn't get disappointed when I finally opened it. I still need to get the Priss.

It's not an option because right now it's only a pipe dream. If it was confirmed or if there was any actual photographs that would lead us to conclude that there are even a slight possibility of these coming out, like the photos of the 1D and the mock up Robotech heads, then it would have been an option. But right now, we've only heard of such possibilities from these forums and some people took that speculation too seriously. I have very little doubt that those would do well though. I think everyone needs those pieces, including the strike and the GBP to complete their collections. I would hope they improve the sculpt on that strike cannon though. Hell they should make the JMs again... or mass produce the JM2.

It's funny when someone uses the apples and oranges analogy to explain toys. As if you can't compare apples to oranges but yet you can use them to explain the nature of plastic products. And if I walked into a place that charges me $10 to $12 a burger they better damn well serve me something I can do at home or better with all the conveniences of a restaurant as compared to a fast food place.

awesome. Is that 1/72 scale? It's funny how people always defend the toy company and say it's the only route they couldve taken but then someone makes one in their garage that looks so good. The Toynami Beta looks great, I'm wondering about QC though, of course.

If Banda doesn't make one in 1/60 then I probably wont get the VF-25s also. I'd only get it if it was a new line to collect. But as of right now it's not pretty enough to get on his own. Unless they make an armored Ozma. But yeah... I'd like to see a 171 in 1/60 scale.
