The grey part of the handle bars seem to touch the tires a bit, more on the right on mine than the left. But if positioned correctly, this should be minimal. The tight tolerances for this toy is sometimes unforgiving. One mm of incorrect positioning becomes a pain in the neck in some parts.

1 head and 1 helmeted head... no empty helmets. Mine just broke... just a random defect though... one of the fins on the wheel was painted shut and broke right when I tried to flip it open. Funny, since it was the last thing I had to do before I finished transforming it... Not funny cuz it's so awesome... Gonna email them for a fix.

I totally agree. I'm good with the VF-1D this time, but felt the same way when critizising the 1/60 VF-25. Except nightmare... he's just bitter...

First of all, this movie's gonna suck big time. But I just dont see Cobra being a low brow org like Al Quaeda... They got these big emblems in the middle of their chest and all these weapons. It's pretty much public and all. But who cares... the movie's almost done shooting, It's probably going to be more like Inspector Gadget vs. Claw in The Matrix.

No. Not the one in the Pilot episode, though there are probably different 1Ds in space thru the series. No, by the time the Fast Packs come out, Hikaru is piloting the Skull One after Roy's death. Kakizaki also dies and the next time Max flies a VF he is in his new VF-1J. Hikaru's Red and white VF-1J never had the Fast Pack armors in the series either but Yamato has always made it available with the TV FPs. So there might be a possibility you'll see the others come in a bundle.
