  1. I'd rather stick you in there for fun.
  2. The dots line up correctly so I know its on there correctly. But those fasteners arent strong enough to hold when the bike is being handled. I'm bringing it up so it can be fixed for upcoming models, as it is the function of this thread. I'm not afraid of taking apart my toys and making any necessary adjustments. Those nubs shouldnt be smooth, they should be round with squarish edges.
  3. Constantly finding functional vehicles along the way is NOT MORE believable. I think Stick anticipated that they need heavier armed vehicles to make a successful siege at Reflex Point. Sneaking those planes were half of the mission. Sure it wasn't part of the original idea, but they added to the story and also the coolness factor. The Legioss/Tread combo are awesome and Mospeada would be less interesting to me without them. There's plenty of things that were an afterthought in movies that ended up making them better.
  4. my biggest gripe after playing with this awesome, awesome toy constantly after a week is the connector of the seat to the "gas tank" in bike mode. Constantly disconnecting. And the windshield doesn't sit securely either.
  5. best yamato feature: the 1/48 box. NOT! Yeah, I used the NOT joke...
  6. both should stay away from TV and movies. I didnt understand the initial Frank Miller retort at all... if it was to be for or against the argument...
  7. yeah you're right, I'm giving this 80's animated show too much thought. I should throw my toys away and burn the DVDs.
  8. They mostly left the bigger machines in hiding places and used the cyclones and land vehicles to get around and when the big trouble starts they have to run all the way to the hideouts. It was done really nicely. There was effort involved and it wasn't just happenstance that the Legioss were nearby.
  9. I love it!
  10. One more page! But what's left? Beta..check. Beagle... check. Someone else start it... too lazy. Dont forget to link the this last thread!
  11. A1.... that's thin... thin ice! I need someone that can read my writing...
  12. They also did the art for some of the boxes, but from the upside down kite I say it was just a filler. I decided to take off the fabric from the Beagle Stig figure... replaced it with some foam and heat shrink tubes. I gotta say, taking it apart I understood why they included the fabric... I'm gonna play with my mod some more to see where the compromises are I'll take better pictures tomorrow in the sunlight.
  13. push the button that says FIRE!
  14. no decals ready for it. The rest of the decals composes of Area 88 and an upside down UN Spacy kite and decals from other kits. Like Totoro said, preproduction pieces.
  15. The one thing I don't like about the double jointed elbow is that they tend to fold at the bicep primarily instead of the elbows. Otherwise I think they are a great addition. Would rather have them than not.
  16. is there a pic of this thing yet? 16 pages, I would hope so, or else I have no idea what you guys have been discussing all this time.
  17. Happiest bunch of animators... ever.
  18. It would seem weird that they would redesign a box for a reissue. But maybe it's cheaper to do that and use the Max Qrau molds than to use the extra plastic. It doesnt matter anyway. You gotta have the CMs Millia if your willing to spend the extra cash on the Qraus. The figure that came with it is pretty hideous.
  19. A1 is my official spokesperson
  20. I paid more than that for my Hot Toys Iron Man.
  21. I like them too, but I agree that it's too expensive. I got a couple of them on clearance so I'm pefectly happy with them but at the retail price they should have a detailed cockpit and an articulated figure. But I always think about what if this was 2004 and this was a resin kit instead, it'll be either 1/72 or 1/100 and over $300. I still really want that green TV version though, especially with the Max TV1A coming out.
  22. It fits right in... you dont have to take he feet off.
