haha. Wes is kinda right... I've heard of most of those and I'm not that big on watching anime... it's just another suggest a show to watch thread. Anime is so overflooded with crap, there's a good chance that if it's good then most people that are fans will hear about it.

I love the 1/48s... to me they signify the line between high def collectibles and just toys. The 1/55s were mighty toys, the v.1 1/60s were kinda upgraded (but no love from me) toys... but once the 1/48s came out it seperated the men from the boys. Whenever a new more detailed higher quality version of a classic toy comes out, I call it the 1/48s of... The Beagle Mospeada... the 1/48s of Mospeadas MP Optimus Prime... 1/48s of Optimus Primes Rohby's SD VF-1... the 1/48s of Joke Machines The new 1/60s are cool and fun to play with, but their not revolutionary or anything. And the size of the 1/48s just spell DELUXE collectible.

An expensive non-transforming toy based on something that transforms? That's like an expensive toy car that has wheels that dont turn... kinda frustrating.

agreed... I always thought it was the best video game anime without having an actual VG to base it on, with Jubei going thru different bosses. It's better than trying to make a story out of Tekken. But then again I'm not an anime fan, so the more "sophisticated" anime has never interested me... always came off as fanboyish and extremely geeky.

i have all four but after seeing the metallic priss I decided not to get it until I know all 4 is going to be released. Its not only that it's metallic, but they went out of their way to paint other areas of the bike. Now it feels like they sold us unfinished products. I got them for a lot less than retail but it's still a lot for what it feels like theyre worth. I just want larger bikes for my Atelier figs. That would solve everything!

yeah... its funny, but its pretty much what keeps me out of these threads... same people different sides. I'll just stick to the scoop thread. besides, I'm just one guy pointing it out... every time you post about it you have 4 or five of your posse posting after... it makes me wonder what this thread is really about.

This criticizing the critics is starting to be as bad as the people complaining about the products. I understand that some people unnecessarily panic about toys they haven't got but do we really need to counter-whine the whiners?
