    It was a custom armor that was originally published in the japanese hobby magazine MODEL GRAPHIX, Oct 2002. http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/magazi...002-page-25.jpg We drooled over it for 5 years before getting the chance to own one.

    Yeah... that's what I mean... interest as far as reaction after the release. Primary interest doesn't count as much as reception. From what I hear, the whole thing is a bust because HG's present triumvirate doesn't like outside influence on their storyline. Which means not hiring any actual writers or any actual creative directors for their projects. I know their marketing guy is always spinning about how much of a success SC is but if that was true where are the products as a result? Where are the merchandise, where are the T-shirts, the underoos and the cell phone cases? Even Toynami hasn't really released anything from SC.... maybe one Alpha that was recalled. LOL. Maybe they should really think about marketing Robotech and Mospeada instead of their own egos.

    Yeah... lol. I was being facetious with my above statement and AgentGHQ totally took it serious... so I'll try to be obvious now... TWENTY FIVE YEARS and they couldn't do anything with the property means you should just give up hope for the property. Even if the movie gets made. Given Hollywood's propensity to never use a show's original design means that there's no hope to ever see toys based on the cartoon. IF... and it's the biggest if you'll ever see, they ever make a movie... you won't be seeing Mospeada. That means no cyclones, no Alphas, no ride armors and no Legioss.

    I didn't like the mutation storyline either, only for this movie not the other movies you mentioned where the change is the main storyline and Werewolves aren't mutants.... huhlloh! lol. A mutation is a genetic transformation, werewolves are a mystically cursed... Anyway... I thought the mutation storyline suddenly changed and distracted from the storyline that was introduced in the beginning and didn't allow us to find out more about the Alien Prawns. But aside from that it was highly entertaining and fun.

    big deal... AKIRA, though the animation was incredible, was super boring... it wouldn't break my heart if they made a movie and if it sucked.

    First Blood is such a different film from the rest but I can see why they did the sequels, everyone wanted to see what type of badass he was out in the field. I don't care how many sequels they make as long as they don't announce a remake of the first. It'd be more interesting to see a Rambo: Year One: Back in the VC. lol. Maybe they can get Peter Patrelli to bulk up and take on the role.

    WHAT??? lol, did you just compare MEMO to Ahnuld? Analogies don't really mean anything as far as arguments because I can make anything up to support the opposition... I would probably say that Memo's more like the dog that use to pee all over my mom's front yard and she would chase him out with the hose. Then he'll be back the next day and it all happens again. Should the dog just stay off the yard? Yes. But as the title says... HG and Robotech Debates... If you guys can't handle MEMO then what the hell are you doing in this thread? I wish there's a filter for all caps but there isn't...

    Memo's posts are irritating, especially with the CAPS LOCK andmaybe the way he posts is borderline trolling, but I gotta say, he's not a very effective troll. The stuff he posts are so inane and such obvious HG cheerleading shenanigans that I can't believe you guys let him get to you. And he speaks english fine, you just have to understand that he has his lips so far up Tommy Yune's butt that every time Tommy says something Memo lip synchs along... Hahaha... Hey MEMO, you know it's true...

    Why? Because Disney would make a worse Fantastic four movie than the Tim Story ones? If it does defualt baco to Marvel then it will default to Marvel Productions who has a deal with Paramount for distribution. Disney would be more than happy to take over any distribution rights from Paramount but the deal made was that they were going to leave Marvel's current deals intact. It doesn't matter who makes the movie, Disney will get their cut.
