Less than 300 votes I'm sure Yamato will be impressed by all 80 people that want a VF-2SS. Instead of trying to overtake each other with personal opinions why not encourage more people to vote.

yamato paints are incredibly strong... more than what it takes to strip a chunky monkey and I'm assuming an alt.

Yeah... I've been planning on doing the Microman custom for a while now. I never really knew about the fit issue because my garland broke right out of the box. Yamato sent me a replacement right away but I havent had time to work on customs for over a year now. Finally I made the custom first before I fixed the bike...then LSB told me about the fit issue and even the Microman wont fit... Which is weird because they used a Microman when designing the Garland. I even took out the two gray parts that sits next to the legs. I'm gonna finish the custom and possibly make a Yui figure but they'll only be for display when not in robot mode. Incidentally if any customizers out there know how to take apart a Microman's arms for painting please PM me! Or else I'm gonna have to try something radical.

I think Ruski meant the Beagle vs. the Alto... but it's clearly not the same scale. That Beagle is monstrous compared to Alto.

I think that Kaiyodo has had their market research as far as the VF-1 with their battroid revoltechs. Obviously those sold well enough for them to pursue another version of the VF-1. I can't blame them for wanting to make more of such a milkable product. I applaud them for making the only Macross enemy mech out there but how far can you take the that mold with simple repaints? You also have to remember that people that buy those VF-1s are not just Macross collectors but there are also Revoltech collectors that just happen to buy the VF-1s to complete their collections. With that being said I'm passing on all small scale valks. The cost just adds up and I end up missing one of the bigger purchases. I'm interested to see how this thing looks in both modes though.

Shows can surprise you... Usually a show would be radically changed when the actual show starts. But the way people reacted in SDCC you would think it was the best show they have ever seen. Not a really good place to measure actual quality.

I dont really blame anyone... I mean... no new news about Robotech... BIG SURPRISE!!! I'm betting the next little update about the franchise is gonna be HUGE though... HUGE!!! We're all gonna be in awe!

Yamato sucks at making action figures. Every figure I've bought from them has been really disappointing.

thatts good for promotional video but an entire series like that will look like crap...pretty close to those Dominion cartoons. Plus NO Mikimoto character designs... NO SDF:M for me!

and it seems no one will, since Yamato has said they have no interest in it. It's actually my least favorite Destroid so I'm OK with that.

At the risk of insulting someone... I'm just gonna go ahead and say it... that is god awful ugly... its everything wrong with people that have no flair with mech design given a pencil. Even Mazinger Z with 80% less line has better detail... somebody stop me.
