I'm wondering what's keeping unLocke on the island. Jacob is dead. What is he building his army up for. It seems like Dogen was like a mini cork keeping smokey out of the temple. But as soon as he was dead the black smoke swarms in there and killed everyone. Can't wait to find out all this.

I think it's pretty much laid out that the Man in Black is the evil side of the coin, but it's never really been said that Jacob is pure good but his job makes him the nobler person. I guess the white vs. black alludes to the whole good vs. evil. I believe that Jacob pretty much spelled out the struggle between the 2. One believes that man is corruptible and inherently bad (fate) vs. Man has a choice and hopefully can learn to make the correct one (science). The fact that Jacob can get off the island whenever he wants pretty much goes with his story that he's there to keep the MIB in. The boat survived because Jacob brought it there, what doesn't make sense is that in the beginning of last season the boat arrived and it was pretty calm with both him and MIB staring out to it. Maybe that was a different boat.

hey don't get me wrong... if they made a movie/show accurate minmay doll that had the songs built in... I'd probably buy it. (I bought all the movie accurate Toy Story stuff) But how many of us Macross Collectors that would are out there?

Its a really good season. Last night's episode was one of the best. Who knew Nestor Carbonell had so much acting chops.

Battroid on that looks good and not all squat like the Yamato version... I propped up my Yamato in the back just to make it look decent in Battroid.

I think the problem is manufacturing a automated doll that's targeted at 30-something male consumers (without any pleasure functions that is).

like David says... there's no denying that the nightmare is closer to the camera but a lot of it is drawn to aesthetics than scale as always the case in these mech shows, either that or the perspective of the BG painting is way off, they either have to bring the camera down to floor level or lower the VF-17 in the frame.

I thought that too, but if you look they're both standing on the first arrow on the floor markings... it's a combination of animation scale inaccuracy, quickie perspective and basic on screen aesthetics. Like I always say, thats why the Zentran foot soldiers and regult pilots are the same size as the VF-1s on screen when they're suppose to be half the size.
