lol... for 2K... you're asking for... for... actually, that should be a really nice toy. aside from the macross collectors that kinda get screwed, the people that put that much engineering into the thing get screwed too, because even they couldn't afford their own copy.

I think it's a wonderful resource and you can check out any angle you want. I decided to download all the pictures into my harddrive instead and cut out all the ones I didn't want to look at. Took a couple of minutes to download though.

The nightmare is searching for all this stuff. One big thread for all the armors, especially if there are that many variants is just ridiculous. I think it's easier for us mods to lock up threads once it gets too long but in any case you end up with the same amount of threads anyway. What number thread is this? 7? So there's 6 other threads that we have to catch up on without the luxury of searching the titles?

I'm not familiar enough with the 1/60 DXs to start new threads but shouldn't there be seperate VF-25 DX threads also? Maybe they should be split up by type or in Frontier's case each armor should warrant a new thread too. Just like original Macross mechs should be divided into A/S/J/D and the GBP would get it's own thread.

I thought those look decent also but if you watch all their products and promotions, it's a constant rehash of the same drawings over and over. That means Tommy couldn't be bothered to do new artwork for any new advertising purpose. It's always the same Rick Hunter drawing or it's the Minmay on the end of the VF-1 gunpod. You'd think that an artist and fan of the original material and someone who's trying to perpetuate ownership of a license would be more than proud to show off some sort of prowess on the usage of said product. I'd be busting all kinds of crap that said, "suck on it Big West!!! We don't need you! All ur Macross are belonged!!!" a perfect example would be Alex Ross's ownage of the G-Force stuff. I mean he took over it like he invented that stuff... he basically said... RIP Amano... there's a new king in town.

what is this fanworks agreement and who exactly agreed to it? It's kinda funny that HG tries to refer to other artwork as fanwork because their stuff end up looking like fanart. I mean just pull a page of Macross the First and compare it to any Shadow Chronicle book.

As I said before on this thread, it doesn't seem like there's a big demand for standing figures. If I did 1/48 figs I would probably only do a generic pilot with his helmet on. 1 DYRL or one TV type. I'll definitely be doing a 1/60 scale ground crew + vehicles though, because that's something I want for myself... thanks for asking.

LOL! I remember building a Gobot Cy Kill model my Monogram as a Skull Leader Cyclone ridden by Max Sterling... that's got to be the most confused model ever... It looked cool though, a blow superior with a big black skull symbol on the chest. At least I remember it as cool... probably looked like crap.

I can do progress shots like most people. I don't want to take pics with my camera while it's all puttied up.
