Macross scaling sucks. I only pay attention to it as far as mechs go.

I always thought of Carl Macek as a catalyst and not a pioneer. Everything I don't like about Robotech comes after the original series. Sure re-watching it doesn't hold up, but a lot of those old cartoons don't. And coming from the Philippines at that age, I already knew that NONE of the "japanimation" stuff were all adapted faithfully to the original source, so Macek was just doing what was a common practice back then (albeit to 3 different series instead of one.) I always thought that what they brought over rocked. You can only be bitter over Macek as much as you can get bitter over Transformers for not allowing us to get the original 1/55s in the states. So his death comes as a shock because Robotech was a big part of my childhood. I don't think any other cartoon would have given me an excuse to run home a mile and a half just to get there at 3:36pm everyday. It's a shame that he never got beyond the shadow of Macross. But he took on something bigger than him and that something you can't say about everyone... RIP.

For the soldier, try heating the tip of the ball joint stem and pressing it slightly to deform it into a slight mushroom shape. Not too much and be caeful not to melt the whole thing. Maybe try pushing it against a hot surface. As for the torso joint and neck joint I drilled a 3mm hole and used those acrylic yellow sub joints. I'm pretty sure that when Lindeloff answered that he meant as far as the main characters' reason being on the island, which is what the speculation was about. Not the whispering voices. The writers have always played with the fan's guesses as to what the island is. Hurley's imagination? Well they had that episode where Hurley thought that it was all in his insane head but it was discounted by Libby. And last week's episode does reveal it's purgatory for Michael and other souls, but also puts the Island inside alternate Hurley and Libby's head. So in a way, while the fans are definitely wrong, they are also mostly correct...

Yeah I know what you're talking about... I went thru my library and offered up the only thing close to what you might want, but something more organic would fit because you don't want to think that a robot is speaking the lines.

I'm glad someone did a book like this. This type of book has been sorely missing from the shelves for a while now. Here's hoping for more!

I'm sure they'll tie up all the major storylines, but there's no way to tie up everything. Sometimes, a storyline is made up just to give a certain character depth. Like Ilana's relationship with Jacob... The funny thing was, when Dogen was telling Sayid about how he got into that accident with his little boy, I felt like Sayid was looking at him like "Sorry, no flashback for you..." The kind of storylines we're probably not going to find out about have already gone wayside such as Walt. But I'd say they've already started answering all important things like, what is the Island, what's the smoke monster? why are they there? What are the numbers? etc.

There's a lot of viewers that say that this is a show that there's a lot of people that come back to life. But really Sayid is the only one that has come back to life everyone else either managed escaping death or is a ghost (or in Locke's case a doppelganger...) Even one of the episode is named Dead is Dead.

But you knew it was gonna happen right? I kept cringing everytime she slammed a water bottle in the bag.
