Try having two light sources or having a white board/ paper act as a bounce card. You can have both lights even or have one more diffused than the other. Here's my set up. The lights look a lot harsher because they're being photographed directly but they're actually very soft white lights. Notice the light diffusing lampshades. I just used an Iphone 4s... one day I'll get a better camera, lol. Sadly the regult was destroyed by USPS upon delivery. Ignore the Toynami bag on the floor! lol. -
Just don't expect True Detective's production value... lol.

I guess it didn't... take your breath away...

It's funny that this thread popped up and it became a 50% airwolf thread as I've been working on a 1/6 scale Airwolf helmet.

Yeah... for a minute I thought Kramer from Seinfeld was coming out with a space fleet line. MERGED!

Airwolf had me when String blew that lady away in the pilot episode. After watching Knight Rider and all the vehicle shows on TV, I was surprised to see someone actually get killed especially in the hands of the main character. Airwolf's lair was awesome too... but it seemed like a ridiculously long drive. Blue Thunder was one of my favorite 80's movies though. Metal Skin Panic reminded me of it. The show wasn't good though. Speaking of lairs, I always think of Blue Thunder when I pass by the police copter lot next to the freeway... I keep thinking I'm going to see it there just like in the movie.

Great episode of Humans this week. No action, no deaths... just pure story, pure drama. Kinda surprised, thought it was going to be a cheesy show.

1/24 is smaller. The 1/15 was comparable to the 1/48 VF-1 in height. Not exact but it was nice to display next to each other. A 1/24 Garland is pretty close to a 6" action figure.

That's right... I actually didn't remember the name til someone said it on these forums... I just remember they showed Macross and then it disappeared and came back as Robotech a while later.

Lol. This was the first attempt to bring Macross to the US... Hikaru was named Rick Yamato. Even with the awful theme, I would have loved to see the whole series.

Beagle sold character figures just like Yamato. Their demise was just part of a bad time for businesses, higher costs, and a flooded market, IMO... http://myfigurecollection.net/search.php?manufacturer_strict=1&manufacturer_id=7978

Just because one done doesn't make it an excuse to do others. I haven't seen a lot of those crossovers but are you really going to pit Frank Miller's Robocop Vs. Terminator against Robotech vs. Voltron? I agree with Mr. March's initial assessment that the RT.vs Voltron books look and feel more like fanart and fanfic. There's probably a chance that such a crossover can be written to make more sense but it was just page after page of... "Look! It's Max in a Lion! How crazy is that?" exposition.

Like Jenius mentioned, mine broke apart at the seams because the glue they applied wasn't enough. I just glued them back together. But I don't collect vinyl over all because most become sticky over time. They just don't react to paint as well as other plastics and going by their standards I'm guessing Toynami vinyls will get there before other vinyl pieces I have.

If you liked the way Pena's stories were told, that was taken straight out of Drunk History on Comedy Central... one of the most hilarious and suprisingly most informative shows on TV. There's a bunch of scenes from the show on youtube.

Keyword operating there is "relevant"... The site pretty much pushes everyone to their Facebook page. I mostly think that they get their news about the live action movie the same way we do though, thru other entertainment sites. If anyone wants any real relevant news about the LAM, just pay attention to anything released by Sony or the production company and those will be few and far between until they actually start casting. Once we hear about more than one actor being actually signed then it's actually going to start or maybe even have already started production.

Sadly these are the people HG is marketing to... specially the ones with the blogs that other people might find and post in a forum just like this but less involved with Macross/Robotech fandom. They even encourage it in the beginning of that panel.

Ah that's why he's in the movie. I thought Kat Dennings hooked him up with a job in the MCU. lol.

If they just stand there long enough, the Toynami stuff will disintegrate on their own. But those Matchbox toys are pretty solid. Still have mine!

What an amazing movie! So much fun.
