I saw the Losers when it came out. It was what the bad version movie you expected the A-Team to be. The actors were likable but it just wasn't enough to recommend to other people. I tell others to watch the A-Team for sure if they want to see a fun action movie. The funny thing was, I kept waiting for that scene where the guy shoots a grenade thru a window on the other side of the street while another guy was waiting to jump in. When that scene didn't come I was kinda perplexed... hmmm... I coulda sworn I saw that somewhere in the trailer.

who needs modern engineering, lineart accuracy, accurate colors, durability, playability. perfect transformation, attractiveness, packaging, fondness, displayability, any sort of correlation to the show, safety, reason, sanity, pride, meaning, articulation, will to live, want to pick that up, what was the question again?

I'd say look for hotels further south of UCLA or try to find someone to share the room with. Westwood is smack down the middle of Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Santa Monica. Pretty high end neighborhoods. But if you can find someone to stay there with, it'll give you plenty of places to see and go eat without having to drive. But if you insist on something less... look further south of Overland or Westwood Blvd maybe as far as below the 10 FWY. -
me too... but at this point I'm really picky about engineering (didn't get any toynami). I think after this the only thing that could make me buy at another scale would be a 1/32... hmmm maybe a 1/500 if they can still make it perfect transformation at that size... lol.

@tweetychick... that's awesome. You can do video if you want or whatever is better for you. We'll coordinate everything as soon as we get a hold of all the songs from Jason. @Modcineaste... we have to make sure all our equipement works together so will figure it out soon. @UN Spacy... awesome man, you couldn't have picked a better con to go to. This year is gonna be full of surprises. -

Really? I saw them in downtown L.A. when Prince use to own that club... forgot what it was called, it was either called Club Glam or the Glam Slam. It was right by Figueroa. Then I saw them at the parking lot of Tower Records when it used to be on the Sunset Strip. I got to hang out with Blur once after their show at the Palladium. I was out in the parking lot with a few friends when these guys came out to us and starting talking crap about Blur. I asked them what they were doing at the show and they said that their friends opened for them. So they gave me and my girl their backstage passes becaue they thought blur were a bunch of "pretentious fags". So we went in to the after party. It turned out the guys that were outside that gave us passes was the band Rancid... lol.

I saw Weezer when they were the opening band for Lush... I was blown away, I don't think I've missed their show once in L.A. since. That's when Lush went or tried to go mainstream and disappeared.

I was gonna say Ride too, "Vapour Trails" is one of my favorite songs. I remember the Ride/Lush Tour back in the day. Also remember Catherine Wheel, the aforementioned My Bloody Valentine and Chapterhouse. I'm a big fan of Silversun Pickups, they're pretty local to me but I know they get a good deal of airplay. I'll try to look for some Airiel. I think my favorite period in music was the Shoegazers/Mancunian days.

My friend asked me why it was in China also. The real answer is the fact that they wanted to cast Jackie Chan so bad. You can have them remain in Detroit but then it wouldn't explain why he ran into someone that ended up teaching him King Fu instead. But if you make the location China, odds are a lot better that you won't be running into someone that'll teach you Karate instead.

I know Shin is the hero valk, but man, that guy is the least heroic of all the main characters in the Macross realm... picks up a broom to fight a girl, crashes more than anyone. And ends up riding a big piece of wood at the end...
