  1. I totally agree. I wasn't trying to defend Yamato, I'm angry I can't afford it either. I was just pointing out that as a price of resin kits, $200 is an impossible price and $400 is more than reasonable. And this as a toy, even though people think it's huge, should really not that much bigger than a QRau. BUT, let's not kid ourselves. Most people are angry because it's Yamato that's releasing it as a kit, if it's was some Joe Schmoe MW member, we'd all be singing his praises and emptying our wallets (including me). I think I rather see it released as a kit than never at all. What worries me is that I just don't ever see Yamato releasing a cheaper version of a 1/60 Regult. Oh yeah, I love how the pics say "otaku 2" and they credit cybergundam. http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2010/07/more-yamatos-160-yf-19-kai-at-wonder.html
  2. lol! Thanks for putting the figures next to it. Man that first one was harsh... Not meant to be blown up that big. At the most the last 2 pics they still look decent! Great looking valk! nice granite counters too... OK too much HGTV!
  3. Dude... $200? Ask around to see how much Cap's kit was at 1/72 scale, static pose and standard resin not including the pilot. And his was a great bargain at that price then ask around how much it's going for now. It seems to me that Yamato used the 1/2000 Macross to fund the 1/3000 toy. I don't know how or what they're gonna do with this project. I"m thinking this is it for the regult because if they were funding anything with it, it would be around $600 or more. Cap's kit was $140 BTW. The figure was $50.
  4. I like Chris Evans also as an actor, but I agree, he doesn't strike me as someone who could play The Cap. I'm kinda disappointed with the last few Marvel choices. After Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk I thought they were finally going to get everything right. But it looks like it's back to the old studio system formula with comic book movies.
  5. If i's so important that it be at that section then why haven't they started their own thread? It's a collectors forum and this is aimed at toy collectors. These threads aren't physical entities... there can be 2 running threads at the same time.
  6. the second and third shirts were submitted to the printers. The second one should be coming soon.
  7. 1/60 is a scale aimed at toy collectors and it's articulated nature won't appeal to the model builders.
  8. No, they don't mention on the film. I watched for that specifically on the second viewing. But the events that they mentioned made it seemed like he was gone a long time. He established himself as a the best extractor in the business and it seemed like he's gone thru a couple of architects before he got to Ariadne.
  9. yeah, the regult is specifically designed to be released as a resin kit. Unlike the SDF-1 which was originally designed as a toy and later converted as a kit. It's not going to be a wide release toy. Go grab your Toynami 1/100s! Actually those dont look bad next to a 1/60 VF-1 fighter.
  10. And Saito shows up out of nowhere in the beginning. The reason that I dont think it's all a dream is that only certain number of people are chasing him. If it's his own dream then the projections wont go after him. If it's someone else then ALl of the projections would try to hurt him. But then again I dont remember any projections going specifically after him.
  11. Actually it's been implied all thru out the movie that it's all a dream. And Mal even vocalizes it at the end. Well... Mal, the one in Cobb's head. The first thing I told my friend on the way out was it seemed unrealistic that the kids were the same age, but I feel like it was done deliberately for dramatic effect and to keep the audience wondering if it was all a dream. If they showed them as older kids then it would have been too realistic.
  12. Lets see the regult pics Save!
  13. Looks to me like the art on the left is made from the autocad model.

  20. I remember Sabretooth from this site sold a kitbash on ebay for way more than a grand.... so this should be a bargain... http://www.wetanz.com/the-exosuit/
  21. Sorry. Each shirt was made to order and the shirts were shipped from the printers today.
  22. I thought it was an Asgardian cooking show. "Now we add water..."
  23. Ariadne... she gave Theseus the ball of string that got him out of the Mnotaur's labyrynth... that was the only thing I thought that was kinda cheesy.
