  1. Yeah you can. Or you can post a link to the auction thread. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=33794 Some rules are there just to keep things neat and easy to find. Not to keep you from posting stuff.

I just realized I'm staring a this picture and it's actual size... this baby is huge!!!
  3. These will be casted to match the gray on the valk's intake cover and feet. They match that color because they cover the holes in a valk in Battroid mode. The side covers go all the way up past the arm sockets to protect the toy by restricting too much movement on the hinge and also gets rid of that awkward mixmatch color underneath the arm with the regular GBP side covers. The Max and Millia 1Js already has that white square in the middle of all that blue or red, which seems kinda misplaced.
  4. These are not designed to open up. The box behind the seat does have the capacity to have the top removed and you can store a small item in there. But I have no idea what. I honestly didn't think they needed that feature and didn't want to copy the T-Rex design. I concentrated more on the ease of attachment and fit. These guys literally just snap on in 3 seconds. And snap off in about the same time.
  5. Awesome! But oh no here comes Quamjin with his giant cruiser! BRKKKKHHHH!!!! BOOM! CHHHKKKKKWWWW!!!! RAAAWR! Gojira! Run!!! Space bugs! nom nom nom! ooops...

Yeah, the word is it was tweaked to fit the T-Rex soldier. Also mentioned that no glue or screws required... hmmm... nails? staples?
  7. awesome! Hey I have one already done in 1/60, if you print them out at that scale I'll be down for a trade. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=32047&view=findpost&p=865965
  8. There he is guys! *throws rock* REGULT LOVER!!!
  9. Maybe he drank a red bull.

From looking at the pics I don't think so. But the large markings on the regult should make it easy to make templates.
  11. This thread is so enticing... and I have a bunch of extra 1/48s and FPs... lol. I think my FP's are officially off the market. I think with a combination of paint and printable decals the Minmay Guard is doable... challenging but doable.
  12. I'm just watching Robotech NEw Gen on hulu... don't know where my Mospeada DVDs are... I'm still huge fan of it. The Iiga would totally be awesome in the CM's 1/18 scale... Hell even the Gurab too. Maybe the protector Inbit would be doable in 1/10... But who'd make the 1/18 Legioss? lol. Even worse. Who'd buy it. Prolly the same people that bought the 1/2000 Macross. I'll be sending PM's back tonight and some tomorrow. Sit tight and thanks!
  13. I have a CF for sale. Drop me a PM. Sold my kakizaki though. I have every 1/48 and sold the ones that I feel I don't need in my collection. I'd rather wait for Hasegawa to come out with their 2 seaters than chase down a $300 kit that's not worth it.

  15. no you're fine there.

    Wheres the pilot?
  17. Not to mention sculpting Yellow's head and hair. It's not planned for this year for sure but when I'm ready I'll put up an interest thread and see if we can max out at least one mold. As long as people understand that these are gonna be resin parts and wont hold up to constant play like the materials used on the actual toy. I think the engine which definitely have to be replaced is POM on the toy. That's a major part that needs some serious engineering as a kit. Modelling it is the easy part It's the elbow grease needed to finish the part to match the rest of the toy that's the major hurdle. Still, a pipe dream of course... getting ahead of ourselves.

I need like 5 of these... can't even get one!
  19. Good idea for a thread. Why didn't we think of this before? Now when I see a thread like this pop up I'm gonna refer them to this one.
  20. I'm glad they're gonna be in a collection and not deteriorating in some warehouse.
  21. How many people still buy stuff for their 1/48? I'm actually thinking of customizing all the 1/48s I have that aren't selling. Which means I'm gonna need some of Eternal D's hands and some custom parts. I wish I had some more Thunder hammers.
  22. wow... that was quick... already made it across the ocean http://wildcats.pupui.jp/ someone in this forum is already doing a 1/10 version of Jim's jeep. I certainly wouldn't attempt it. I wouldn't build anything that big just so 2 or 3 people can buy it unless it was something I wanted for myself. Concerning the Blow Superior conversion kit. This is more doable. I can easily make those parts, but what are the chances people would buy a $200 toy, take it apart for a kit that may cost another $200? But it's one of those project I'm considering as a one off custom.
  23. I'll try to get them going by then... but really shipping for 2 sets isn't that much. I guess I can start taking orders. These will be casted in gray just like the original GBP sets and they will arrive ready to assemble. I won't pre-assemble because you'll have plenty of options of how you want to display them. But they'll be cleaned and ready to snap together. If you're gonna paint them I recommend further cleaning by washing in warm water and mild detergent. Of course these are for display purposes, made of regular resin with small pieces. If it gets hot enough where you live I recommend laying the seats down or that thin rail that holds up the second seat might bend even break. <- disclosure (it probably won't, it'd have to get pretty damn hot, unless you have a scaled Kakizaki sitting on it) I'll weigh these tomorrow and I'll respond once I have the cost of shipping. Just PM me with the subject "1/60 upgrade parts" and include your zip or international location and the quantity of either "basic ($10)" or "complete ($15)" sets. As I said before, paypal fees and shipping is extra. I'll also contact everyone on this thread that said they wanted some sets tomorrow. Thanks!
  24. Pretty good response on this thread and thru PM... I think the operative word here now is.. cheap! $10 FLAT for the side and neck covers only without the seats. $15 for the whole set. That includes a set of side covers, 2 neck pieces, 2 seats and 1 rail. Every 5th of the WHOLE set is free. Shipping and paypal is extra. Thanks everyone!
