Hi everyone... A lot of people at the con were asking for the VF-1 shirt so I decided to rerun it... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=34033 -
3/8" and you have to drill the hole for the ball joint stem. Get a drill bit slightly smaller than 3mm because even though the ball joints are marked as 3mm, they're slightly smaller. I suggest fitting the ball joint stem to a predrilled styrene rod before you glue them to the kit. If you glue all the rods and ther're too loose then you're right back where you started.

for anyone wondering I put styrene rod inserts so the joints will fit snug. Resin will loosen over time.

Battle damage! Just put some blast marks around it and you'll be ok. Ruski, it all depends if people need a pilot and/or the Trex pilot doesn't fit. If it doesn't fit and people aren't interested, I'll customize it for myself. But if it does fit and enough people don't have the figure then I'll make one. But I know I'll be making a bigger zentran as tall as the 1/60 VF-1 battroid... For sure it's not the official 1/60 scale... hmmm... looking at the size difference between the 1/60 VF-1 battroid and the 1/48, it looks like it can be considered as a 1/48 zentran...

You can put it together without glue so you can prolly dry fit it... get the white gloves out. Pop that soldier in the pod and see if it fits... oh no... here it comes...

I'll just update here. I'm fixing the parts that were scuffed up by the bad mold... no biggie just a little more elbow grease... shoulda just waited until after con. I want to get this stuff out because I want to start working on other stuff already... I'm side covered out!

Honestly, I know this development is leaning towards the bad idea version, but every generation should have a Top Gun movie, only to showcase the newer machines. Just like every generation get a Macross to enjoy newer valks. I don't mind if they don't use the Tomcat. It's my favorite fighter but it's had it's day in the movies. Let's see something new. Maybe the Tomcats can show up in the beginning as part of an airshow. (of course I dont think this way if there was ever a Macross movie... it has to have the Vf-1s in action)
