  1. Fail on my part. I'll quit reading the forum after midnight.
  2. It's confirmed that the VF-2SS is coming? Sauce?
  3. He was in Blade 2 and Boondock Saints.
  4. Lineart is what seperates us men from animals. It's a code we live by. Without lineart we have... Robotech.
  5. Another great episode but seems like it was more of a set up for next week's...
  6. It's amazing how people still haven't learned the words "web exclusives".
  7. lol... give the credit to ruski... bastid! kidding... If people aren't a stickler to accuracy then I'd rather have a dockable fleet that consist of the Deadalus, Prometheus, TV style ARMD carriers and maybe 5 oberth class ships (only 5 were built according to canon, oberths are smaller and don't dock) in DYRL colors. I mean seriously, do we want 2 SDF-1s in different colors or an add on that makes a fleet in the same color scheme? If they came with stands they would look cool in cruiser mode.
  8. Nice! The head is a bit small! lol. Great work on the arms it's seamless...
  9. I agree with you 100% in the first paragraph but I think you got Graham's post mixed up. They're asking if you'd take the bastardize version over not having anything at all. If you read it again, he pretty much says that it won't be profitable. I agree too. I think people will pick only one SDF-1 and it'll be the first one to come out, in case the other one doesn't. If they ever came out with a TV version, I'm sure people will not have the money for both and stay away from the second version.
  10. really nice stuff
  11. I love both versions. But not an amalgamated version of either. I'd rather if they sold a Prometheus, Daedalus, TV ARMDs set to interchange with the DYRL ARMDS...with a couple of Oberths to accompany them.
  12. Hi everyone. Update time. Had a bunch of trouble. At first I thought it was me rushing it or it was the clay I was using, but it turns out that it was a bad batch of mold rubber. The mold practically destroyed all my prototypes and I had to refinish (sand/primer) all the parts. The company gave me a small sampler batch to take with me and they're ordering me a new batch. Casting will be on as soon as I receive the new supplies. Thanks for your patience! Sample recasts:

The mold practically destroyed all my prototypes and I had to refinish (sand/primer) all the parts, some parts I've finished and some I'm still working on. 14. LOL... I'm ok with them making kits but now they're crossing into customizing territory. Well I guess custom and weathered schemes are customizations, but what's next? Jetfires? GIVE US A TRUE TV VERSION! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  15. Accurate version. The one thing Yamato is good at is sticking to line art versions of the toys. I hope they don't stray from that.
  16. A lot of people won't be able to pull the trigger anyway because it's most like family, neighbors, or co-workers coming at you. You'd probably be too confuse when you see your wife/girlfriend or kid stumbling over to get a gnaw at you. You'll end up shooting yourself first. Everyone take a good look at the person next to you because most likely that'll be the head your bashing in.
  17. It was so awesome to see Michael Rooker again. That guy is awesome... he's freakin' Henry the serial Killer. Haven't seen him in anything in a while.
  18. what a tense episode...
  19. This project is on hold while I straighten out some stuff with another project. I would love to do a Misa statue but Mikimoto keeps drawing Minmay in more interesting poses and outfits. lol.
  20. Hi Hopefully soon... these my priority. Unfortunately when I screwed up before the con meant I had to redo some parts.
  21. I meant for myself. But like I said... there's ways of convincing me...
  22. I agree. I love the 1/100s but I think that there's enough 1/60s already produced to tell me that that's the line to collect. Bandai is mining a mountain that Yamato has already plundered. I'm close to being done and everything else that I want won't be made by these companies. I can actually justify buying the expensive Yamato kits because I'm buying way less than I used to. If they made a 1/60 Glaug, I'll use the money that I'm not using for the ridiculous amount of 1/48s that I used to buy. But if Bandai somehow comes out with 1/100 Regults Glaug, Qraus and Nousjadeul-Gers... I'd have to strongly consider buying all the 1/100 VF-1s they release.
  23. "Related and compounded by" but not the sole reason. You're negating way to many factors... saturated market, the fact that most people consider their collection complete or close to. If sales are down 80%, it's not to say that you can blame it all on the economy. Even if the economy is good, how much can you keep people interested in the same products or becoming interested in anything other than the few VFs that they want? Just because 100 people on Macrossworld want a VF-4 Lightning doesn't mean you can sell 15000 pieces of it. Macross had it's boom. It was gonna die off sooner or later. But to suggest the impending demise of a company and create some drama, you wouldn't say that that's a bit much of a chicken little attitude? And my point of saying that Yamato has other merchandise doing well is not to compare to Macross... it's to say that there's other info out there and everyone should just relax and enjoy it for as long as they can. Unless you guys want to listen to one little blurb and start stocking up on Macross merchandise just incase Yamato ceases to exist and we can sell each other 1/48s for 2K each. And BTW... I never mentioned naughty girl statuettes.
  24. I heard from a reliable source that they weren't going to ever make a Macross toy... oh wait... they did and another one is coming out around Xmas. Yamato's main income isn't coming from Macross, they sell a ton of those 18' dolls. That's what I heard (It's ALL hearsay). But let's face it. Does Macross merchandise depend on the economy or the fact that it's core fandom is getting old and need to focus their attention of something other than? There's a ton of money being spent on toys and film related merchandise. The reason they're doing so much exclusives is not the economy (as bad as it is) but it's because of interest and lack there of.
