I honestly don't care if JC has anything to do with the prequel. I just stopped being a fan of his a long time ago. Didn't anyone see Escape from L.A.?

I'm a huge Rob Bottin fan. I think his design of the Darkness from Legend is one of the best on the film. There's an interview on Ain't it cool where the director praises the hell out of Bottin, and mentions that a lot of the effects will be handled physically instead of CG, which is good news. I'm still skeptical on how it'll be though but I'm interested in seeing it. It doesn't need a prequel IMO. I think a lot of it holds up and is actually better than most horror movies today. I was watching it the other day and I thought it was funny that Mac outlasts Windows...

wasn't a great episode, definitely not a good finale. Ep 1-5 were classic though.

ESB is not only the best SW film but one of the best films ever. The first few minutes alone is better than a lot of films today. I'm also a big fan of Robocop 2, even though everyone hates that movie.

on the EW article, it looks like it'll be debuted on Halloween again. I don't think they want to mess with their Mad Men schedule either, even though they're double the ratings number that former #1 show, I think they would want to milk their good raitings throughout the year. I really have to start watching Breaking Bad.

What about Wall-E? He disrupts a bliss-filled peaceful living and forces everyone to live on a used up, spent planet forcing hard labor on the overweight small boned last survivors of the human race. And his best friend was a roach.

It was kinda awful. And the nickname thing was just so bad. I rather if they just introduced everyone with a text at the bottom of the screen or how about just call signs on the walkies, or maybe they all belong to some super secret internet forum and they use their screen names when they meet each other...

His brother also addresses it in the show. The teeth on the blades were dulled. It was faster to cut thru skin and bones. Must have been horrific... actually I just saw 127 hours so I dont have to imagine.

I'm glad they charge extra for 3D. That way I don't pay for it when I watch the 2D version.

I think you have to approach these kinds of stories as if the characters have never heard of zombies. Just like Ripley has never ever heard of the type of alien she encounters in Alien. They don't even call them zombies, they call them walkers. If there was zombie lore it'd be easy just to say, "hey there's zombies and they're real now!" In a werewolf movie they hardly every say werewolf. They always say it was a giant wolf like monster! that walked like man. Usually it's only in less serious do they ever say "what? vampires exist?" You gotta remember also that Michael Rooker's character was high on cocaine and was already a bit off kilter to begin with.

I like Karl Urban as an actor but that man is the new Michael Cain... He'll take any role. lol. Pathfinder was awful. But he was great in Star Trek and Red. I think I would have picked Ray Stevenson or at least Vinnie Jones. Vinnie has cheese writen all over him though. lol. In any case I guess I'm not that interested in a new JD movie. The previous Judge Dredd was pretty bad but Stallone looked pretty badass as Dredd.

The one I'm working on and the ones that I have worked on is a 1st issue and they're all like that. I think they're all going to be like that and I doubt that Yamato would change it because 1.) they're pretty much done with it. They've ran it a couple of times and even the one change the made (besides color) is the addition of the pilot. And they didn't make a metal mold with that. Hikaru is resin not plastic. And 2.) It's a kit. Which pretty much means you have to build it and do all the customization and fixes yourself. If it was sold as a toy I can see it them perfecting it but the fact that it's targeted at semi experienced builders means we're pretty SOL.
