    It's funny but that's exactly what the n00b thread is for. BUT since you decided to start a whole seperate thread, try giving it a title where it tells us what the subject is about. vague titles are not allowed here. As for the shoulder pads, it's the 80's. Everything had shoulder pads. If it didn't, you bought shoulder pads and some velcro and BAM... instant 80's fashion. But I think the shoulder pads make as much sense as the rest of the DYRL flightsuit (Huge helmet, hard arm and lower leg harnesses) and it just became a Macross staple. That's why while I hate Macross Zero, I feel like it has the best flightsuit design in all of the series. I just call it the Low Viz Pilot.

    1) Anime Series/Film/OVA that aired this year. 2) Science Fiction Film 3) TV Series 4) PC/Video Game 5) Consumer Electronic 6) Toy/Model/Action Figure/Plushie/Nendoroid or whatever... 1) I dunno. I'll put the Macross The First Manga since I don't really watch anymore new anime. 2) Inception for sci-fi but Toy Story 3 is the best film of 2010 3) I guess Fringe would be the best sci-fi. Best overall would be Community. 4) I've only played Dinosaur Slayer on the iPhone4 5) iPhone4 6) I'm thinking it's the 1/3000 Macross but MOTUC Battlecat if it has to be a previously released toy.

    I was thinking the same thing, but I think frim a marketing stand point people would be less apt to buy a variant than a whole new model per se. I'd love to see other schemes though.

    It's scary but I can't say it's fragile. It keeps the shape pretty well, but I'm not going to give it the endurance test.

    all that was an attempt by Flynn to create the scenario of a perfect world. A sort of microcosm of what the real world would be if it was done from scratch. I'm not sure how alcohol plays into that but then again, this is a guy that uses terms like "bio-digital jazz". Screw the Matrix, I still think Reboot is still a better idea of what inside a computer would be like... lol.

    Oh I have no doubt that the book is better than the show from what everyone says. But It's a good viewing experience nonetheless. I'll pick up the book once the show is done. I never read it because I'm not big on zombies.

    The predictability and the lack of story didn't bug me. This is Tron after all. The original wasn't the greatest as far as plot but was all about the experience with all the cool rides and games. In that way I thought it lived up to the movie and was rather enjoyable. In the beginning they really pushed the whole "we're in a computer" and must therefore act all stiff and wooden, but after a while that wears off. The lead actor Same sucked. No charisma at all and young Jeff Bridges as CLU or Flynn never left the uncanny valley. That was horrid even in the digital world. But again, enjoyable where it had to be: the games and the action set pieces.

    Man... so glad I didnt read the comic book. Sounds like I wouldn't enjoy it. But I'm thinking this is one of the best show/movie that's been based on a comic book.

    not me! I just got mine. Look at how thin these parts are! Here's a sample of the interlocking system so you won't need glue on some parts to put it together. I feel like doing an dry fit of the whole thing but I'm not sure I want to go thru taking it apart. Maybe next week.

    CANCELLED! Too bad I was actually beginning to enjoy the show. Rush's discovery of what the Destiny's mission finally gave what I felt was a point to the story. Before they they were just bouncing around trying to drum up drama. But I guess it's all too late. I'm sure the reason for cancelling this show and Caprica was because they didn't meet syfy's standards. Now they can fill their time slots with more movies like megasharktopus vs. saber tooth mastadonants.

    Yes. I just finished the last molds for the mospeada parts. Tomorrow I finish the last of the 1/60 parts. I should be casting this following week.
