  1. Why am I so sad that this looks good? Oh yeah, because I saved money not being interested in the VF-25s. I'm gonna wait for the reviews and maybe the quality will be crap. LOL.
  2. Check HLJ. They've offered the last kits (1/2000 Macross and Regult) so far. If not contact Tokyohunter (MW member Save and former HLJ Joseph.) http://tokyohunter.blogspot.com/ http://www.tokyo-hunter.com/
  3. It's very close but it's a totally different illustration. Thanks anyway!
  4. They have 2D glasses now. You can sit in a 3D screening and eliminate the 3D. I guess if your friends insists on seeing a film in 3D and you have to sit with them. Have them pay the extra price though.
  5. With all due respect. I don't want to bring up discussions that we shouldn't be bringing up on projects like this. But if you went through "official channels" there's no way this kit would be this price. Too many hands in the cookie jar syndrome.
  6. My guess and I would be happy to be wrong, but I would say they wouldn't do that. The point would be to milk the mold. I still say they should do a Prometheus/Deadalus/TV ARMDs/Oberth class sets as an add on pack. Someone made a good point that that's how it appears on Macross The First.
  7. It's probably safe to say you shouldn't order from Overdrive anymore. HG Blows, maybe you would want to ask your question on the noob thread or the wahts wrong with my toys thread. As far as I know you can't get replacement parts outside Japan, so your best bet is to contact a member there or try shooting Yamato USA a friendly email and see if they respond. Never hurts.
  8. I split the jenius review off to a new topic and put it in the reviews section.
  9. I'm guessing there will be an influx of extra parts coming out of this. Honestly that price is worth getting the SDF-1 alone and make partial money back from selling off the custom parts. You'd get the Macross for around $200 after all is said and done.
  10. Kitties Just Don't Understand....
  11. Looking for a hi res scan of this pic. I know it came with the Hasegawa 1/72 Minmay 2009 Special Decal set, if anyone has it or a different source, I'd be mighty obliged.
  12. That's expensive junk. But you know they're either never gonna open it, which it's perfect for or they desperately need it for the their blue beta. It doesn't lessen the frustration and disappointment of the buyer once he's opened and had it for a good while... Actually it'll raise it... "Man I paid $363 for this POS???"
  13. Found the episode extra funny. An ex-gf just bought her first computer back in the day and she wanted to sign up for ICQ because she saw me and my friends on it. I used to play Quake2 almost 6 hours a day and me and my buddies used our stupid screen names for everything, even in person. That's where I got EXO from. Anyway, she signed up as Futura. And I told her that was the lamest name ever, and I told her why didn't she use Nova like I told her. The reason she didn't was that she didn't want to be named after my car back then, which was a 74 Chevy Nova SS.
  14. Does it have any of the Tenjin cutaways? Looks cool.
  15. I believe you're on the same side. Honestly. This kit is a bargain. It looks like something that should cost over 1k. I'm just sad it came at a time where I can't afford it. If I did buy it, I'd be making 1/32 figures for it.
  16. I had no idea this thread had anything to do that series until today. First episode was interesting but it just set up a lot of plot points. I like the amount of characters involved, adds to the believability. Mark Addy as a dirty womanizing king is kinda weird, he always plays the good guy. Looking forward to the next episode.
  17. that was disappointing. It almost gave me chills when they added the theme at the end of the Thundercats trailer, this was the exact opposite.
  18. LOL! Check out the view of that water closet. But remember... if you can see them...

  21. $300 isn't that much for the Scott Bernard version considering the retail is $199 and is now out of production. The japanese version retailed for about $250, you'd pay $300 shipped. It's probably the best toy Toynami will have an involvement in distributing. $600 is a lot though.
  22. Wow! Nice build. Good rule to break.
  23. that hair looks weird to me. Like they glued it on too high. Good sculpt, but it doesn't look like any Motoko iterations. I can tell it's suppose to be SAC because of the outfit.
  24. I'ts been so long you got the year wrong! looks great
  25. man... you take the worst pictures...
