  1. I guess they never suspected it when the baby was screaming "I want my to potty NAWWW!!!" "WAAT do you MEEN I cannot play with YUU! I'LL BE BACK!!!"
  2. No prob. Love the oberth. If the Prometheus and the daedalus were in DYRL I'm sure the oberth made it over also(in theory). Too bad I didn't get one though.
  3. Moving to Other Anime section. Thanks for the info.
  4. Journeyman was a great series, sad to see Lucius Vorenus get 2 good shows axed and had to move on to something like Gray's Anatomy. As for V... ...no sir, I did not like it.
  5. lol. question answered.
  6. this. Me too. I'm just hoping it's sans the man boobs. Gotta have something standing next to the Super Happy Party figures, which really are just tiny statues.
  7. Tell me about it. I thought it had been off the air all this time until people made a big deal of the final season. It's been happening for a while. The whole allure of smallville was that it was suppose to be the Clark Kent story before Metropolis but instead they brought all of Metropolis to Smallville and made a non Superman Superman series. The whole conceit of what they said about "no capes and no costume" irritated me from the start. People want to make comic book live action but reject the roots. They want the built in audience without paying them off.
  8. just catching up with the posts. Agree with everyone else, the bump mapping... makes it look like an aztec macross... lol. There's way too much camera shake on the video too. You gotta think about where the camera is. Is it on a ship? if so then the movement might a little bit wavy at first and some from the camera man trying to focus. The shake should come from when the main cannons are fired. Maybe a bit after from shockwaves of the event.
  9. Can't blame EXO on this one.
  10. that's what I mean. That shot comes immediately after the shot I took a capture of, so the boosters were there a second before that. So it's either animation error or the animators didn't bother putting it in because they thought the shot was so quick that it was a waste of time to draw it in. But there's no battle damage on that section of the Macross... so personally that kit to me isn't worth the trouble. The glow in the dark decals are cool though...
  11. Must be the same guy that sculpted Man boobs Chiciro for the scopedog toy.
  12. That's really inaccurate. You see the boosters fire as the Macross charges into Bodolza's chamber and there's a flash of the feet where you can't see the boosters. But you'd assume they're still firing because of the sound. After that, you don't see the bottom half of the Macross because it's emersed in clouds or smoke until the end of the battle. The macross takes the bulk of it's damage from the Meltrandi attack at the Proroculture city where the main gun gets blown off.

  14. Each stone runs on 2 rechargeable AAA batteries.
  15. What are the resin feet for? I can't seem to remember them in the movie. And why I would replace plastic ones with resin when it holds up all the weight.
  16. After a while, I don't remove the intake covers. It's nice to know that they can come off but it's not a deal breaker. It's just a cool factor. Same with removable missiles... it's just more bits to keep up with. As long as the toy looks good in all modes and it doesn't fall apart in my hands.
  17. The height of the 1/60 YF-19 is accurate. The Fireblazer toy looks to be about 23.5cm in height in battroid mode. Looks great though, a lot better than the YF. There was always something off about the YF-19 toy, it was never as stout as it should be. This is one looks spot on. Hope they make a 1/60 YF-19 2.0. Milk it Yamato!
  18. You gotta start with the right creator first. Seriously... David Kelley? It's ironic that he's married to one of comic book movies' greatest casting choice.
  19. Nice! Represent Macross love! I'm glad you got the shirt in time. I know mlz22 is taking his 1/24 valks and I think tundrayeti said he's taking some kits too. Sound like there's gonna be a small MW get together. Please take some pics.
  20. Hopefully it'll appreciate so you can sell it off and make room for the new one...
  21. It's sort of a cliffhanger, but yeah, not so much. I'd imagine the seaon 3 opener to jump 3 years later with everyone waking up. They find Eli's pod to be empty even though it's been made fully operational. But that's entering fan fiction territory. I'm sorry to see the series go but I'm not as butthurt as when they cancelled Firefly.
  22. If only the 1/100 scaled Bandais were more successful maybe we'd see a 1/100 VF-0. lol. haha. that would defeat the whole purpose of Yamato's intention to milk the mold even further. Plus as said above, the cockpit section has to be redone for accuracy.
  23. Bravo! Pretty good!
  24. renting it takes far less effort than going all the way to HK to get a bootleg. That kinda makes it seem like you REALLY want to see it. lol.
