They're pretty good with creating stories... Unfortunately, most of it concerns what to tell the hardcore fans so he... I mean THEY can keep grabbing on by their nails...
-
love your linework. Is it digital? I would want to see some character art... I just noticed you're from Jupiter Base! !!!
-
I guess... but I meant that they want to use the Macross rep for their inferior brand... LOL. True...
-
I guess they want to "improve" everything Macross... I don't know if it happens outside of L.A., but do you guys ever see the people that put the ferrari horse insignia on their Hyndai Tiburon... just sayin...

This is a great thread to check off what's needed on your collection http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=29393 Thanks to Grand Cannon.

Well, yeah. That's just part of collecting. I'm not saying that everyone that makes a profit is an idiot. I'm saying if you THINK you'll get rich off speculating on SOME toys then you might be one. You can make money off anything if you treat it like a business, but as a hobby then that's just gambling. And some ppl have the money to gamble on it... but I don't think the odds are that enjoyable or profitable.

More like the smart cars of valkyries... still love it though.

Oh crap. Ugh. Thinking locally. My all time number one is MASAMUNE SHIROW. Followed by Hiroaki Samura.

I'm not even sure if some of these guys even work in the industry anymore because I haven't been reading them in a while but prolly the most amazing in my book... Travis Charest (started off as a Jim Lee Clone but really surpassed him as far as style... ) Chris Bachalo (always amazing) Adam Hughes (Pin Up Master) John J Muth (watercolorist extraordinaire, maybe should be on the top of the list if it was in any particular order) Joe Madureira (I can't stand this guy for never ever finishing a project, but his art was pretty amazing. People always said that he was a manga artist but I see him more of a Disney artist that worked on comic books) Honorary mentions to Alex Ross, Bernie Wrightson and Dave Stevens.

That's freakin awesome! I just hope Derek Zoolander doesn't see it. -

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
EXO replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
the only ones coming with the glossy finish will be the 19 variants because they started off with the Fire Valk. -
acrilic on plastic scratched off. But on resin I really had to dig my nail in there and it eventually scratched off. More porous I guess.
-
labeling and now the earthquake made all tamiya products scarce. I've switched to an automotive primer sealer but there's nothing like good ol' tamiya. I'm also considering switching to adhesion promoters instead, but havent had the chance to mess with that. I know with resin and some plastics Tamiya sticks on without primer.

I gotta say, with the tank and now his techno armor, I'm becoming a fan of MummRa.

Man of Steel - Superman movie has a director
EXO replied to Mr March's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It's so weird... when they just leave it to the basics, like the Chris Reeve version it looks so good. I mean Scarlett Johanssen looks pretty damn good in those pics as Black Widow.- 442 replies

There's nothing to fix. That's a jedi kick!

It'd be so awesome when you hook it up to your phone and walk into the subway in Tokyo speaking to your little red fire valk.
-
Bryan Cranston... Walter White in Breaking Bad is Isamu Dyson... that's enough to give Macross Plus dub a passing grade!
-
That tank is awesome. I wouldn't buy a cheap plastic version though. If they made a nice prestige edition maybe.

It's amazing how far they've left the original behind, not that it's that difficult. But the scale that they're building on top of the original concept is amazing. On the other hand the struggle between Mummra vs. Leo and the rebellion is was kinda scaled down because it's just a flashback. But you would think that the amount of effort it would take to topple Mumm-Ra at his prime would be tremendous. That said, that was a pretty epic face off. Makes me want to draw some Thundercats. Too bad I don't have time. Don't like whiskers either... It's no "frak" that's for sure... how about "motherfurballs!"

LOL... Just read this... for some reason I picture Tommy and Steve there with their laptops barely listening and sending each other youtube videos of kittens falling over paralyzed by loud noises...
