  1. Yup.
  2. OK I got an easy one... Occult practices
  3. I feel like the collar is there because they built the v.2 with the second seat in mind and then just filled in the cockpit for the one seaters. Now I gotta comb thru the thread to see if anyone else posted that since I'm just jumping into the conversation now.
  4. hmmm... sucker punch? doh!
  5. The title of the thread is probably the most obvious way to decide where a thread goes. Examples: VF-1 fanart -> Faworks Robotech Art -> Anime and Other Macross and Robotech Art -> Fanworks MW members' non macross fanart -> Anime and others MW members' Macross and misc -> Fanworks As long as there's a chance of it being Macross related then it can stay in the Fanworks section. It's the same rules for non graphic fan works. If someone starts a thread based on MW Member's non Macross fan fiction then it would have to be moved to Anime and Sci-Fi section.
  6. New eps airs every sat. 5:30 for me. Reruns air everyday.
  7. I'm liking the later episodes better than the first ones. Ratchet kicking butt was a good one... and the Prime vs. Megatron Brawl was pretty cool too.
  8. Random words to link random news make does not, willis, talking about... whatchoo... images related???
  9. Can't say I blame you... You know what they say about being a Mospeada fan... ... it blows superior...
  10. Didn't CMs complee their line? They even had bonus figures. I just got the basic ride armors. Wish I could afford all of them. I skipped the Megahouse releases... lol. Looked too weird.
  11. We care. Dorvack sucks! Lol.
  12. Nice... I'd Shadow her Chronicles.
  13. Toynami 2.0? lol. You know Yamato would have released that like 2 years ago.
  14. Holleeee jeebus... as if I wasn't afraid enough to fly... gah.
  15. The prototype looks like it has all the proportions correct though...
  16. The wave was supervised by Aramaki himself so there's really no one better to judge proportions. I'm looking at the comparison pics and I'm dumbfounded by the conclusions I'm suppose to reach. lol. That old Imai kit is hideous and the CMs it way too lanky... look how long that mid section is. Talk about disproportion. I think the Toynami version is OK until you get to the feet. The problem with the Wave is that it's cluttered and the hands and heads are too big. And I think that gun is ugly. Here's small versions of the Aramaki sketches on top of the protoype.
  17. Looks great. But Why is Snookie getting into a Qrau? LOL... JK...
  18. I broke the glass on my iphone... just walked into an Apple store and they replaced it for free in 5 minutes... lol. I wish it was comparable to Yamato breakage.
  19. $300... whew. No way. I gotta draw the line somewhere. Guess I'll just keep trying to catch up on my SDF collection.
  20. Wow. Did they really pull it off? I gotta see the transformation and all the features but so far it looks good. Landing gears FTW. C'mon Yamato! Better figure out those brittle plastic problems beforehand this time!
  21. LOL!!! Yeah, that's a given. They couldn't even make the toys for the Voltron Show. The big corporations won't trust the license with HG or Toynami. Hopefully they're ready to step out of the way.
  22. Things are getting way too personal on this thread. I don't really understand why fans are going after other fans that are not being mean spirited or have any views that really challenge the point of this thread. Sometimes I feel like, yeah this thread keeps all the bullshit that can spill over to the rest of the forum. But at this point you guys are personally being insulting to members of this forum with no good reasons. I really hope you guys choose to take down those last videos on your own and maybe apologize publicly on this thread.

Hey dom! Here's the right thread. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=23658
  24. I was kinda shocked that Ridley said that about Decker. I mean I watched that movie a hundred times before it was ever discussed and the way he presented it was that there was a strong contrast between the replicants, that really valued life and Decker, a human that was practically dead inside in the beginning of the movie. To say that he was a replicant pretty much ruins the point of the movie. Plus he could barely stand up to any of those replicants in a fight and he was suppose to be the best Bladerunner there. It seems really silly that the director says something years after the production and we're just suppose to throw all the things that the screenwriter injected into the movie. If Decker was a replicant to Ridley, he sure kept it a well hidden secret to the other members of the crew, the actors and the audience. I thought the Unicorn scene was just Decker remembering how bad of a movie Legend was... lol. I did end up preferring the Director's Cut after all though. I was convinced that the theatrical release was the best but that was just bias because it what I grew up with. I was wrong and Keith was right on that front but I can't agree with him on the replicant issue. Speaking of alternate versions. I actually enjoyed Legend because the look of it pretty much nails what those Medieval fantasy books felt like. But the alternate cut which was the UK release seemed really weird to me. They took out that great shot of Darkness with his eyes glowing in the beginning of the movie which to me was iconic. If there's one movie that Ridley shold redo it's should be that one. Because as much as I loved the look, the story was really disjointed and the ending was lackluster. Awesome character and set design though. There's a round table discussion somewhere on the net between Todd Phillips, Aaron Sorkin, John Wells, Michael Arndt and others where Phillips pretty much says that unedited versions (or other versions that aren't director's cut) are an insult to the filmmakers. They put out what they think is the ideal cut of the movie and the studios insert cuts that are meant to be left out just to sell alternate DVD versions. Just google those names and WGA and there should be videos that maybe still posted on the web. The extended versions of LOTR shouldn't be veiwed in one sitting. That's just insane. If anything it should be treated like a TV series and watched one hour at a time. Or in my case just take out all the boring/gay Hobbit parts that didn't have Gollum.
  25. Shin I have to disagree: Will/Should Hasbro or Mattel sit on the license if they owned it? Yes, because there's no market in the present to take advantage of. It's a small property compared to their other giant money making endeavors. Should HG/Toynami sit on it? No, it's a pretty significant market for a small company and their free reign on every market except Japan should be taken advantage of. Yamato is doing really well with a limited market, why can't they with a much larger one? Even with the product they released that Maiden Japan has worked on, they don't want to put the money into it. That 1/100 Regult should have been a runaway hit if it was an actual toy because there's no other affordable enemy toy being sold. Even if they sold it for $60 both Macross and Robotech fans would have bought it.
