  1. sets STICK LEY FUKE YELLOW SHINOBI
  2. Liked this ending more than the TV version. The TV version seemed like it was just going thru the motions of emulating the original series. And I liked this movie far better than the first one which was boring to me. This was a lot more fun, specially the rescue mission/concert. I would have preferred a VF-25 with new armor over the Durandal but whatever.
  3. Isn't it going to be walking and talking the whole time? I thought this was a road series. This episode was way better than the last ones... just wish they'd quit But that Shane thing was a pretty good payoff.
  4. I tried to use superglue remover on my first attempt to modify these and it melted the plastic. I was disappointed that the whole thing is glued together even though the protypes had screws. The one screw they forgot to take care off was that hideous one on the neck. My customization involved removal of the cloth which I hated. I also wanted to make the legging black instead of red. http://www.macrosswo...51_312_8469.jpg
  5. LOL. Look at the second post on this thread.
  6. I said all I wanted to say unless you were going to add to it. As far as the toys, I guess they are popular enough to where they're already rebooting the classics line to 6" instead of the planned 8". I guess Bandai realized that Mumm-ra would have to be a full on 12" figure to accurately scale him against the thundercats. I don't mind the reboot because I only have bought the Lion-O and not the Tygra. I do hope that they keep the quality of sculpt on the classics because the sculpt on the newer versions seem lacking. I ended up returning my 4" and 6" Lion-O. I actually would think a 4" line would be better so they can have vehicles, but I'm glad because who has room for those things? The introduction of the Berbils seem more significant this time around than the 80's show because now they have access to flawless or much improved technology. This is a huge jump for the Thundercats because at best they were just tinkerers. It also shows how closed off the general society was to the outside world because a berbil walking into Thundera would be a complete shock to everyone there. In contrast... t's also curious that everyone outside their world knew somewhat of the Thundercats.
  7. When I do my conversion I'll send you a head sculpt. That'll be way into 2012 though.
  8. 25 episodes! Why to HG Marketing that's a HUGE SUCCESS!!!! Blog people! Blog!!!
  9. Whoah! Nice! Looks like you beat everyone else on this custom... Sadly, not Macross, so I must move. Awesome Job though! KUDOS!
  10. It seems like in this economy it's a better business practice to do low runs with the higher prices. Maybe the Macross market is driven more by the high end deep pocketed collector. Sadly I'm on the other side of that fence and I can't even begin to fathom a collection where each piece is between $250 -$500. But honestly I wouldn't touch Yamato toys and those new Bandais if they lowered standards just to make it more affordable. I'm hoping that they realize that they spent so much on the molds that they start to reissue them later on when the yen price starts to calm down. Hopefully that'll happen but it could get worse to where they just stop making them.
  11. Again, you're not making ANY sense... I can see how you want to manipulate the "discussion" by saying that everyone that just happens to like the show does so "blindly". But actually it's really easy to have an adult conversation even when everyone agrees, in fact... it's a LOT EASIER than disagreeing... you just need good opinions and serious observations. I'm not saying that people shouldn't disagree, I just find your lack camaraderie sad. But I know that you're trying to subtly insult people that actually like the show by making the sentence seemingly about yourself when really what you're saying is you have to have the mind of an eleven year old to enjoy it. It's almost an insult that you'd think anyone but yourself or any 8 year old would not even see thru what your trying to say. What I'M trying to say is, and I'll try not to be subtle about it, that you never liked the show from the beginning and even after the initial 8 "trial" episodes finished and had a long break you still decide to finish the whole season... based on what? That you might end up liking it? Or to still not like it and be the one to say "yeah it still sucks". That to me seems like the more childish role. Maybe at your age you should be old enough to know what you like in 2 or 3 episodes and save yourself countless hours of discomfort.
  12. What does that even mean? Did you want an encyclopedia on the fictitious world they live in before you watch the show? It's a strange world in a strange time. It's the theme. You think at 35 you'd know enough to quit when you decide you don't like it instead of continuing to torture yourself week after week and then whining about it like a 16 year old.
  13. I think her Dad lived in an American Base.
  14. You mean actual work? Then when are they gonna get to go to conventions and write on blogs? I don't think you fully understand the idea of fanfics.
  15. here's the Hoquet designs Shinobi
  16. Hi everyone... I put these sets up on my Shapeways store. That way there's no need to meet a minimum number of buyers. I took out the sculpted character pieces and replaced them with one different Inbit protector. I also added the Shinobi set. STORE Stick Ley Yellow Hoquet Shinobi Price is the same on the default material. I'd recommend that or if you want super detailing I recommend Frosted Ultra Detail which is a lot more of an expensive material.
  17. I've never used them myself and I don't know how they react with acrylic... just a thought.
  18. Have you thought about sprayable magnetic paint? They're like 7 bucks USD at home depot.
  19. Nice comparison pics Jarrod! BTW... nice Prowl build!
  20. So which part was the secret?
  21. Robotech FTW! Woohoo!
  22. Sacred Blacksmith on Funimation channel. 80's style adventure. Great character designs and animations.
  23. lol. My sister asked me what FTW was and I was like "you don't know what FTW is? GTFO! ... Don't ask me what GTFO is..."
  24. I knew that... But I ended up reading the article and had to comment anyway...
