They're going to be at winter wonderfest. About 12,000¥ each I believe. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=36352&pid=956096&st=0entry956096

I was excited about the megahouse when they first showed it off, but when I saw the Stick version in person I was immediately turned off. The proportions on the figure were hideous and the transformation wasn't great. I've only opened the Stick version so far and to me it's a GI Joe scaled Gakken. The plastic does seem cheap and thin though. It's like they scaled down the thinness of the Gakken also. Making an Ariel figure wouldn't be that hard, but the cost of printing it would turn a lot of people off, it's not even worth the effort. I think if I had a set of those figures I'd do it for myself. I should check how much it would be to print a figure that big.

Then I move it back. I did do my duty and checked though... I've never heard of this line, so I made sure first that it wasn't Macross related before I moved it.

Multiple orders from Macrossworld is a drop in a bucket inside a water resevoir for Shapeways. I'm sure they won't have to move their schedules.

Hey Akim, does it have to be particularly a Japanese publication? There are a couple of on-line outlets that would allow you to post a book and have people buy it on the internet. Let me know if you intend to do this, I might be able to get some additional material, i'd have to ask for the proper permissions of course.

I'm not sure it's butthurt...I think it's just that some people think it's "a nice valk" and others don't. A simple matter of aesthetics and opinion. The problem is it's not just a difference in opinion... it's about if you disagree with a certain group in these forums lately, the same people post over and over until they're the only ones posting in that thread or it gets locked. It's really trollish behavior... maybe they have valid points but when they run out of those they start posting inane pictures that's suppose to make the point for them. It's becoming more and more of a problem lately and they probably think it's gone unnoticed.

Hey Darrin MW is for Macross and Macross related discussions only. Everything else should go in the Other Anime and Sci-Fi section. Thanks! http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=23944 Under Section II: Staying On-Topic

They were done and they'll be done again... as will be the ground crew... as will be the bridge bunnies... both in 1/60 and 1/48 scales... so don't worry about those. Don't know about #3 or #4 tho.

Beagle. All the way. It's basically what a Ride Armor would be if Yamato made it. I mean these are the guys that engineered the VF-19, the VF-17 and the v.2 1/60 VF-1.

Macross Do You Remember Love fansub cover design need feed back

Thank you! I appreciate all the work that goes into these fan projects! -
I'm excited to see it, but I am also wary of the production value... shot entirely (or mostly) on the 5D. But if they take the subject matter seriously enough, it might turn out good. Also, Hollywood's nature is exploitism (I'm pretty sure that's not a word ) , it's just all about how passionate you are about the subject matter.

Looking great! BTW, we increased the number of pics to 25 and the thumbnail size to 400px. In case it's easier for you to post that way.

where'd you see that? It's always been 40 for the set of bags. I got the saddle bags down to $40 on Shapeways but I had to take out a lot of the material including the bottom. I'm still doing some tests. I think it'd be better to take out the entire back instead but I have to see what is more cost effective. As for the cannon, the cost isn't coming down as much... I'll keep messing with it.

Love your work 505! There's a lot more coming from the emotional expression then the technical side, which is what I prefer. But I think if you can hone in on the technical, you're going to have perfect pieces. The coloring is great.

OMG! that looks like it's 1:1!!! Awesome as always!

Frogze! That's awesome. That little gif has more motion and style than the entire shadow chronicles! Lol. Love it.

Macross Do You Remember Love fansub cover design need feed back

Since Minmay's head is cut off on the front you should consider putting a translucent black box around that pic. Are you sure you're using files that are big enough for print? And I don't know about associating it with Macross World. Macross World in no way endorses any products especially unofficial ones. You can post a link that goes back to the creation of the video to that specific thread and also you can say it's translated in association with the "members" of Macross World. It's the same way we word our flyers and links for Macross World Con. The owner/s of Macross World are in no way liable or can be implicated with anything that might go wrong with that event. Thanks! -
Before I used to think that I was getting tired of the VF-1. But as more and more valks come out, all it takes is a good rendition of the VF-1 for me to know that I'd start collecting a whole line all over again. I mean thank goodness they didn't finish the Bandai 1/100 line. A 1/24 would kill me (because I only have one kidney left after the 1/48s and the v.2 1/60s). Gah! I need a drink!

VF-0 or VF-1 (includes variants) which do you like better?
EXO replied to leading edge's topic in Movies and TV Series
VF-1. It's the Superman of Valkyries. It took all the basic elegant simpleness that everything after it can't beat it. But I do love the VF-0 for it's rugged design. But VF-1 all the way. -
If you guys want to pick up where Jesse left off, let me know. I can set it up for Jesse or anyone else that has the resources to do it on the new site. It's a lot easier now than the "retired" page.

The designers can't dye it for you because the pieces come direct from Shapeways to you, unless they do a bulk order and dye everything at once. But then that would raise the price because of the double shipping. Shapeways does provide 4 pre-dyed colors for you for a bit extra. Dark gray, Indigo, Red and Black.
