    That was a Rohby/Exo project when we were working together. They're just using for the design promos for Rohby's miniature building class. xstoys is the owner of that place so it's very MW rooted. That's where MWCon is suppose to be this year, from what I hear.

    I find most of these 3rd party TF toys more interesting and suits my taste. Unfortunately they also fit in with the type of budget that suits my interest and taste. Most of them are more G1 than the actual Hasbro toys and seem to be engineered for collectors. Has anyone seen our very own Maiden Japan's Bludgeon upgrade? How do you get "everyone" from one post?

    MEF is Digimix Studio. Just like TREX designs the newer valks for Yamato, this is the team that has brought us the Destroids and the HDP Regult. I'm assuming that the Spartan might be HDP, because of the moving parts and will likely be equivalent to the upper part of the upcoming Phalanx kit, and the rest will be resin. The license if probably a sub-license thru Yamato, that's why we've been seeing this on the Yamato blog and their booths.

    I'm sure theyll release the Hikaru version but I don't really care what scheme it is. If they don't release it, I'm sure I'll end up painting one. But it sure looks sweet.

    I'm not into podcasts at all but I really enjoyed this one. Listened to the whole thing in 2 sessions. I also told Tochiro to say the date the podcast is being recorded in the beginning.

    ugh... shapeways is frustrating. After continuous successful printout tests, now that I activate it, it tells me that there's thin surfaces. So I paid over and over to make sure these are printable and now they say the files are no good, even though I have some in hand. At this point I'm going to halt the project indefinitely. I think I need to get back to the other projects that I've been putting off for this, plus work has ramped up again. Hopefully they get some new material later on that will print these out with no problems and still have the same flexible property required to keep the joints tight.

    Sorry Oihan. The rules were written to make the contest as simple and as manageable as possible. The only time I would change it would be if the promoters ask me to adjust it for a specific reason. Which brings me to my next point. The promoters asked for the date to have the winners' names by the 30th of this month. That means I need to verify addresses before that. New date for picking the names will be the 25th. Thanks.
