  1. Private Joker was in the movie too.
  2. That's one purty burdy!
  3. i've been getting them recently, but these are parts that were tested, printed and sold before. All of a sudden I get inundated with them and while I was working crazy hours. But this one got my attention because it just popped up even though my parts were taken off line by me. So that means they got alerted somehow. Anyway, this is a quick enough fix. Yeah, I know I can remap my buttons but my mouse should be here soon and I'm working on a different project... should be all done pretty soon. I'll slowly put my parts up one by one and I'll put them on a seperate thread. BTW, your Qrau parts look great, I gotta PM you one of these days and grill you about it... lol.
  4. On the Ep3 First Broadcast version, around 1:20, after they pan across the bridge crew they cut to the VF-1D and then the Macross for the final shot, as oppose to the old spinning VF-1J in front of the bridge finish. That's not what's on the actual episode on the disk though. It's the standard opening like all the other episodes. That Macross special opening is cleaned up without the grain and scratches and it looks so glorious. I wish they could have done that to the series.
  5. Whoah... I guess someone at Shapeways must be on Macrossworld because as soon as I posted that last post I got an email with the description of the thin parts. Either that or someone emailed them. Anyway. My mouse broke and I've already ordered a new one last friday. Right now I'm navigating my cursor with my wacom pad, which is really awkward in my 3D software where I use the middle button and right button a lot. I'll fix it as soon as possible and put up a new thread on here concerning the parts.
  6. Yup... Loop is right... those were my option parts. Even though they've been selling them alright for a while Shapeways decided all of a sudden that the parts were too thin now... I've got to look over these parts and adjust them. I have a couple of things on my plate but I'll post them back up as soon as I "fix" them. I think Shapeways have just become so full of it lately.
  7. I put myself down for one... not just the poll but I have myself on the non-binding preorder on Yamato's site thru a friend. But I'm not sure I'm gonna have the money for this when the time comes... so much other crap and an unstable economy... I'm not sure I'll be able to pull the trigger when the time comes.
  8. Azreal brought it up somewhere else and MichaelS could be right. The fact that it's based on VF-X lineart could be a legality/licensing issue. Thee guys have a very keen eye for detail and there are reasons for them doing what they do, I doubt "laziness" is one of them. Some people on both sides of the arguments are stepping way over the line of civility. They better step it back before the teacher pulls out the ruler and smacks them on the back of their hands. There's no need to get rude or just plain insulting here. LoL. [insert photoshopped pepperspray pic here.]
  9. the poll is accurate to the fact that Yamato is running a non binding pre-order that doesn't limit the number of how many you might buy. Not how many you are committed to buy. It's up to you to keep it realistic and not get ridiculous. We're trying to get an accurate count of what you would do if the non binding pre-orders are open to us that are outside of Japan, not if Santa Claus was real.
  10. I tried adding this poll to the other thread but it wouldn't let me... on that thread there are 180 unique voters and right now we only have 51 of those people that have chimed in. Honestly, if we can have 300 pre-pre-ordered valks spoken for (not actual items) before July 29, I think Yamato would be surprised. How many will be actually bought is a whole different story.
  11. less than a week for this poll,
  12. EXO

    DYRL VF-1 WIP

Wow, you really scoured the lineart for accuracy... now you're going to be even more dangerous with the downloads I linked you to...
  13. Now that you know that the Flashback 2012 version won't be coming anytime soon, how many VF-4G Lightning II would you buy at this time of release?
  14. This was a post on twitter made by Manga Entertainment UK: "Pressure on licensees like Manga to increase our prices in line with Japan. If that happens I can't see it helping us to release more BD." I guess Japan is feeling the pressure of having really high prices for their Blurays. I'm not sure having the foreign markets match their prices would work though. I can only see more and more fans avoiding the purchase of these items and maybe turning towards the internet to watch anime. Maybe it's too soon to say implosion but I don't see how things will turn for the better any time in the near future. Honestly though, after having bought a bootlegs of the Macross Dubbed Movie in the 90's and the FX version DVD in the 2000's I'm happy to finally put out for an official copy that goes to Japan and not to HG, to whom my money went to for the series even though I got it in their clearance prices. If they put out an unedited copy, I just might repop. Not for a deluxe edition though... just the movie itself... depending on the how I feel about the quality after I see this upcoming copy. $180 plus shipping isn't bad for 30 years of entertaiment. if I watch this Bluray for another 30 years that's $3 a year for DYRL... lol.
  15. Hi guys, in respect to the victims and their families we should retire the Colorado discussions. Also in line with our 24 hr. RIP rules.
  16. trust me... I am among the teased!
  17. oh geez. i've never seen the thing. I wonder if the whole movie is just a string of cliche dialogue like that trailer. So, it has begun. Everyone follow my lead! If we make it out of this alive, my wife is gonna kill me. I've never seen anything like this. I bet the movie has: You think you have all figured out You don't even know the half of it Yes, but we've only won the battle, not the war It's a decoy! I want to talk to the manager! I am the manager!
  18. I'm still excited about the release no matter how perplexing these recent developments maybe.
  19. LOL! I'm afraid to look in my Gold Book!
  20. Nice pics Kicker. I hope you didn't bust a nut amidst all those awesome figures. Was Playarts there also, they usually have an amazing Final Fantasy Booth, but I bet it's a lot bigger now with all the other video game franchises they make toys for. For people asking about Cornerstore, call them on their 1-800 number. They're really helpful but like I said, it's been a long time since I've bought a 1:6 scale fig.
  21. nm, I see what you're saying...
