I'll give out the exact address once I have confirmation that the gathering warrants a place this size. But the area in question is along the Pine Ave. strip north of Ocean Blvd.

The fin in front of the landing gear goes into that slit, I'm guessing. nm... I'm wrong, it seems like those two slits line up when folded. the more I look at the battroid mode, the more I like it. It reminds me of the Knock Turn in Chase Cruiser Blasty. Here's an image I posted earlier.

I am doing a commission. This is someone else's Thunder Hammer. After all these years of having one I finally have time to build one myself which is something I always wanted to do.
-
I agree with this. When I saw the series bluray, I thought maybe there wasn't enough money to do the entire series, plus let's admit it... some SDF episodes weren't worth thr restoration image wise. But I thought DYRL would get a better treatment. Though I can't say the differences are subtle. In some ways the high definition worked really great but in some scenes the remastering also allowed you to see the scratches on the cels in front when it's moving across the screen. I thought DYRL deserved more of a clean up job since the animation is so amazing.
-
Yeah, maybe it was a poor comparison. But you can't whine about one thing and then expect people to not whine about another. Like it or not, DYRL has been ingrained in some part of our lives. After watching the Bluray, I'm actually not that bothered by it. But i can see how people are annoyed by it and where else are they going to come and vent?... maybe twitter... lol.

Again, it's not beating a dead horse because the BD had just came out the day before. And the changes are the latest news to come out. People are still receiving their disks right now. Maybe if it was months later and people were still whining constantly about it then maybe you have a point but this is a discussion forum, if you can't stand the discussion then move on to another thread. And the internet is how old, you still don't have an idea of how it works? People repost stuff that you post on it, especially if you don't own the copyright. What you did was repost someone's work in it's entirety, reworked or not. It wasn't a review and it wasn't a work of parody. And it's not that I disapprove, but you can't act like you're unaware that type of stuff doesn't happen on the internet and that you're not the one with the rights to stop it. So you think that it's the creators work and they can do what they want... THAT'S stating an opinion, but you think other's don't have the right to state theirs? Again... ->"Discussion forum"<-

According to Yamato, the pre-order time was extended an hour due to manual error. They'll honor what they call the lucky late comers.

I remember that now... I think I posted the exact same thing... lol.

Yes, so they can set the price. But the people that put their name down get 5% off if they choose to honor that order. 10% if they are part of the Yamato Fan Club. This was announced to close today, July 30. It's all been posted before. This has been going on since July 4th. Well it was July 5th in Japan.

That was the non-binding pre-order, remember? With the real pre-orders in mid August. We're still waiting for the count and what Yamato will assess the price at. http://www.macrossworld.com/2514/yamato-pre-order-july-30-2012/

I wouldn't advise Yamato to make them... but "need" is a funny word when you're talking about toys that cost over $250.

Done! And you know I'm expecting a certain 1:24 piece displayed there... Just want to reiterate that we're not charging to screen the movie. It's for the room... anything extra will be used for snacks + cups, plate, ice, napkins, etc...

I love armor on valks... as long as you can take it off. It just makes it more playable.

So, I just talked to the TF guys and they're pretty cool about it. I'll have to charge about $5 to cover the room but I'll bring the projector and screen and equipment unless there's a pro out there that wants to volunteer to do it for free and act as a sponsor. Also if there's anything left over, we'll get sodas and ice with that. We are looking at the 18th of August to screen after sundown. I figure people can play the game on the PS3 while we set up or because it's in downtown long beach, there's a ton of places for people to hang out, eat and enjoy themselves. They do provide parking vouchers in the building but you got to get a spot or park outside. The room can hold up to 50 people though I am not expecting anywhere that many to show up. If you guys have tall foldable chairs or lawn chairs I encourage you to bring it because while there's plenty of seating it may be not enough. If people are OK with sitting on the floor in front, that's fine... and I'm reserving center of the couch! If people want to bring stuff to sell or trade that's fine but there won't be any deals once the screenings begin. I encourage you to do the deals on the boards and then meet up there. Again, this isn't the MWCon, so you can't set up tables. Here's the type of schedule we are looking at: 4pm: Set up/Mingle/"My Boyfriend Is A Pilot" video game 6:15 (Sunset): Flashback Screening + more 15 minute break 7:30: DYRL Screening I think that should be enough time for it to get dark anough for the main feature. Let me know how that date works and who is coming! Thanks! Here's who we have so far... So they're not actually selling these schemes but blank kits with option parts? That would make sense. I hope they're not exclusives either because it's exactly what we need. Green knee on the Alaska Base type.
