HI everyone. I got a new place because the contact on the other place was realy flaky. It's in the vicinity and we don't have to wait until dark because it's actually a private screening/game room with a screen already up. We just need to bring some chairs and stuff. I'll figure out logistics. We also won't need any cash or anything unless you guys want to order pizza or stuff. I'll look at the place this weekend and tell you more. About the address, I can't give it out until a day or 2 before because this is a private residence. The last one was also, even though it was in a public setting it was still part of a residential community so I wouldn't give out that address either that much ahead of time. Both guys are pretty generous to offer and I wouldn't impose on them like that. Stay tune for more info. We won't change the time or schedule for now in case people already made plans. Like Jasonc said there's a facebook event page here also. In case you have people that are not on MW. Thanks!

It's incredibly more eerie that the HD pictures of Mars looks like it's somewhere on earth. I think it's the fact that after we've seen the moon's surface and even though it's possible that it could be somewhere here, it's definitely other worldly. I mean it's all dust and craters, no atmosphere and the horizon is always more rounded. But with Mars, there's rocks, there's haze, and rocks and mountains on a flat horizon. As someone mentioned before, getting a probe on a planet like Enceladus will truly be fascinating. A moon made of ice. That's way different from the moon and Mars. -

Best thing about that movie was Tom Wilkinson. But after that, it moved really slow with the over reused ending of... AHA! You spilled the beans for no reason! And I recorded your whole plot to give to the police, who just happen to be outside. What does Syndrome call that? Monologuing. lol.

Hey wm cheng. I thought you got mad at me for bashing the original here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=30227&view=findpost&p=966340 I'm one that don't consider it a classic. This version to me was superior. I stand by my thoughts on the movie and yes, you can say all those things I said about most other movies. But a little more characterization on this movie could have gone a long way because the visuals were there IMO.

I'd love to see more Bourne movies. But not by the guy that directed Michael Clayton and Duplicity... Snoresville! What do they think this is? James Bond? People that make boring dramatic movies should't make action movies.

Total Rebourne! That's what I'm calling it. Aside from the weird lens flares (Len Wiseman... or... Wise Lensman?) that came from no where on set, the set design and props were pretty good. I also like the wide shots of the action. The rest of it is like everyone says. Story was predictable... the first quarter of the movie was straight out of Bourne Identity... He unknowingly knows gun fu, then goes to a mysterious safe deposit box and finds money, passports, spy crap. And then he has to go to his apartment that he doesn't remember owning. The characters weren't developed or developed really poorly where you don't really care about the fact he just lost his life as he knows it, his wife who thinks he loves, and he kills his friend, who was never really clearly part of the conspiracy. I mean he could have been paid or manipulated. And if you're gonna have MissTriptits, then you gotta have Quato... right? Oh and I like the lady that was reminiscent of the big lady from the first movie. BTW. I'm ashamed to say that I'm on the fence of liking the movie just based on the fact that Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Beal was in it. And Kate kicked major ass. Derivative fight choreography aside, she moved really well!

The reason parts like that are crappy is because the mold has been sitting around for so long and they figure, I've only pulled 20 out of this and I can do 5 more. But after a while some molds start to degrade and harden. The funny thing is, THEY can see how crappy the results are but they send it out anyway, because they only charged $10 or something for them. And they figure, they can't complain about $10 right? Which is true. It's a waste of time to call and call for that money but in the mean time he's already doing it to someone else. I took th picture earlier when I was thinking, what did I get myself into? The parts look clean but there's pinholes and old mold release residue. I washed the parts and filled in the holes and yeah they look good enough to cast, but tomorrow I'll be laying on some primer to make sure it's supersmooth. Then on Thursday I deliver it to the recaster. When the parts that will be painted come back to me, I'm going to wash those, fill in the pinholes and sand down any imperfections. Prime. Sand again, prime and then paint them. And then a ton of clear coat. It's a lot of work but I feel better when I hear back from people when they get their parts. The rocket launcher tube is green because the master was damaged. That's an extra that I had that I've cleaned up.

Yeah. I have a feeling I know who sent you those. That's just sad. I wish people would speak up so other people would know what to expect from that guy. There's a way to get consistent color. When I did the Mospeada saddle bags, you can interchange any piece with any set from the same mold and you couldn't tell the difference. Unfortunately my recaster right now doesn't want to deal with colors, especially with all the projects I just threw on him. I'm not really sure how many colors would be needed for side covers and hands but if you want me to prep/paint them I'll do it for $10 a set. Can I delete those images off my thread? I don't want people to think it was mine. Also recasting Yamato and other people's parts without consent is bannable here on MW. I've gotten complaints about this guy and some sets that cost over $300 also he was offering up other people's kits. EDIT: oops I just remembered that the side covers I'm offering are 1/60... lol. Hold on a bit, I don't want to inundate my recast guy with too much work. When were done with most of the run I'll see how many people want 1/48 side covers.
