    But mankind has always been able to improve tech exponentially and take other creatures designs and make them their own. We went from railroads to the moon in a hundred years. The Zentradi were programmed NOT to develop or repair and the Vajra were just creatures that were waiting to be harvested or milked. There's a reason why there's only one type of humans on earth and a reason why the Zentrans were warned not to go near Microns. You mess with us, we'll wipe you out... even if it's not our intentions.

    I like the gloss on these 19s. It represents the Mac7 valks pretty well. When they make the YF, I'll probably have to clearcoat with semi or satin.... Might as well weather it.

    The stands are clear. The adapter won't be. Shapeways sells a semi clear, what they call frosted detail, but it's 3 times the cost and not as strong. Plus you'd have to sand and polish the crap out of them to make them close to being clear. This is the only recommendable material because of strength and pricing. People will still have to consider 3D printing an expensive process no matter what but to me it's a great alternative to the unavailable and more expensive Yamato stands. Thanks MichaelS! What's pictured here is just the stand by itself. Like bigkid said. I used a foam stickie sheet to wedge between the VF parts but I had to cut the adapter that came with the stands and wedging it between the parts can cause some stress on the toy. I just wanted to see if the stand can carry the weight. It can actually hold up a 1/48 with FPs in fighter mode providing you don't get crazy with the tilting of the toy.

    Found some pictures of 1/60 valks on gundam stands... wmcheng... trying to keep it under 9 bucks... I trimmed a lot of material to get it under 10, but don't want to take off too much to sacrifice integrity.

    I meant before they turned. Rick shot Shane when he was threatening his family (not knowing he was going to come back), Sophia after she was already a walker. But there's just times right after they got bitten that they can't seem to pull the trigger, literally. Even Andrea couldn't put her sister down before she turned. This was the first episode that they came to terms that they're doomed before they died. I mean it's good progression, but I think Carl is the first one to actually make that step with someone that they were deeply invested in. Because there was that scene in the beginning where Daryl was killing all those people that were bitten by the herd attack. It's kind of a good thing for Herschel though. lol. I watched the episode again. Daryl did block the entrance to the genny room. They just didn't show it clearly enough. And I guess the alarm kept the noise of the birth from being heard by the walkers outside, bit of a stretch but I guess we're all use to that.

    Wow... that was cool. All except for the part where zombies just decide not to go into unguarded doorways. Development wise it was great. Go Carl. About time someone mans up when they needed to put someone down.

    I approve this message! Except anime and movies like Alien are way ahead of that game. Star Wars, for a groundbreaking property has somehow stuffed their liberated and self-sufficient female character type into one female per generation... and they just happen to be related. I mean there's no need to send a message, just round out the cast.

    Seriously, Star Wars needs more female characters. I was beginning to think SW meant Sans Women. It's weird that ever since Lasseter became creative head of Disney, the Disney CG films have gotten better than Pixar. Tangled and Bruno were a lot better than Cars 2 and Brave. That's good for SW though.

    Yeah I think Saturday would be better for everyone also. I guess I should answer my own questions also... let's see 1. What are you happy about? Pretty happy about everything really. This time I had time to chat and meet lots of people and they were all really cool. Thing I didn't like was I don't remember people's names and I didn't get their screen names but I really enjoyed talking about Macross and collecting and everything. Met up with a lot of people that I only talk to during gatherings, like Gabe Q, Eric (Grapetang), Mitch - forgot his screen name. and so much more. Loved people's displays and you find new things everytime we have one of these. 2. What you want to change? It was too hot in there. Open some doors! I don't really want to change some things, maybe add more things to entertain people in between raffle and contests. I want to set up things so people on the site can interact with people at the con. Something we touched on with the real time photos. I was thinking a live podcast and real time chat. I want to see more customs and cosplay... those things are aways great. 3. Hopes if it continue (do you want to see it continue)? Yes 4. Who do you want to thank? I want to thank everyone that made it possible. These guys put together a great show. I can appreciate it more this year that I got to be part of the spectators and I can honestly say it's a lot of work for zero or very little reward. Also to people that donate prizes and cash. These people not only give great prizes for free but they spend their own money sending it to us. And these aren't BS items that they don't want. These are legit prizes that people want to win! I think every Macross fan should attend these things as much as they can. It can only get bigger or it won't last forever. So who went? By the show of hands , most people said they were MW'ers. Like I said. I don't remember who was who. Next time I'm going to take notes.

    someone's always watching... In fact, they answered this question! 1:1 scale Godzilla hand puppet? How big are these people's hands? 2013 is Mospeada's 30th so there's a target date within the year, but save up for 2014 too... just in case! And no it's not Yamato... As I've pointed out before some people from Yamato left to make the 1:10 Ride Armors with Beagle and after that epic fail and the eventual demise of Beagle, there's no way Yamato would take that chance.

    I'm not sure what type of rubber is needed but rubber tip replacements are everywhere. We used to get them in different sizes when I worked in TV production for camera parts, stands, handles. You can find them in hardware stores, camera stores, kitchen and bath stores. I only have the black tipped stands so I've never thought of replacing them.
