  1. Shh! You'll give this guy an even more already embiggened head...
  2. Man, those projects are taking so long. But I shouldn't be complaining. I'm all for spacing it out right now. But the Spartan won't be coming from Yamato directly, it'll be coming from Team Strike!(MEF) After the Lancer II and The Ghost QF-3000E, then the Cat's Eye... sold thru Yamato's online store as unbuilt kits.
  3. Thanks guys. The LV color is paint. I'm pretty good with color match even when I recast but turns out I'm allergic to liquid resin. But I'm actually liking the look of the painted stuff more. DyNO you dont recast anymore? I never got your set but I remember people were pretty happy.
  4. Thanks again everyone. I was looking for the pictures of what I did to strengthen the Thunderhammer for other people with the kit but I couldn't find it. I have another one one to make so I'll retake them and post those pictures. Gotta give props to Master Rohby as xstoys calls him. It's hard to believe how well these parts fit and how perfectly symmetrical they are given that they all done by hand. Each part of this kit started off either as a sheet or a rod of styrene. And the recasts are almost flawless. So flawless that people can go for 4 or more years that they can display them with noting but a few pieces of tape holding them together and still look good enough to display. BTW, this is the picture I sent to Kirik to show him the gold visor. You call that gold? So I had to change it to this haha. He had to pay for the metallic paint though. But it does look good. Better than that OTHER gold visor. lol.
  5. Word to your D to da A to da Aydalus! yo! Straight up Mad props! I recently sent for a sampler of some Liquitex Paint. I think they're trying to mimick the tagger spray paint that Montana makes but it's expensive as heck. I tried it out and it had a similar texture to the Montana paint I used. The color selection is somewhat nice though. Here's a couple of pics with some comparison to Tamiya spray cans... Tamiya is still the best but more expensive per mL. But from the picture it looks like your spray was a lot smoother than this.
  6. That doesn't explain why Revolution and Once Upon A Time looks like crap.
  7. Did Iron Man Mk.2 have an offspring with Mr. Roboto?
  8. Nice! Soundtrack right? There's no bluray yet is there?
  9. Yes. Three separate colors. The recaster said that the stand won't be possible for the price I want to sell it for. Basically it's a huge addition to the mold (actually it would be it's own mold and practically a whole project on it's own. Might be separate. I haven't decided on the extra parts for the daedalus. I want to get the prometheus out first.
  10. Awesome job guys! And next one you're gonna have antibiotictab? getting crowded in there? Where's Howard? Bariaburu Faita? Gubaba whats the name of that movie again? Also I had a bunch of those 3" cd American singles. I think I still have some just lying around in my glove box.
  11. Alright... I didn't want to post it until it was all done. Needs some adjustments on the back so I have to reorder some parts... but here it is connected to the Macross... Actuall holds it up really well. Here you go jvmacross...
  12. I want Macross the First animated more than anyone!
  13. Hi Hikaru1234567890 and skullmilitia... I'm still catching up so I'll PM once it's all done. Trying not to keep people's money for too long even though I've had some for a couple of months... but we're getting there... Here's Loop's LV hands he asked for. Hope it makes up for the crappy ones he bought somewhere else and didn't get to use.
  14. MacrossWorld has a Facebook Page? I bet those guys are putting up a lot of rare art at high wallpaper size resolution and a bunch of cool links and videos!
  15. we'll make the screaming stop!
  16. thanks. I don't know why but I woke up that day wondering if it came with the Beagle version. So I checked it out and there it was. I always figured that it was only included in the Gakken version because it was impossible for him to hld the Gallant. That was really disappointing as a kid not being able to have the Gallant with the Gakken since it was such a cool toy . One of the coolest toys I had as a kid. The Beagle just ups it as an adult collector.
  17. Thanks everyone. Just to make it clear, though it's durable, there's no such thing as scratch proof paint. I still needed to sand down parts that constantly rub but there's still wear just like the paint that they use on actual toys. And there's a ton of clear coat over the paint to protect and even out decals. But if anyone has ever seen what keys can do to a car, it can still be ultimately scratched off.
  18. Hey Anubis, great job so far! Can you tell what kind of paints Yamato sent you? Acrylics? Enamels? I'm wondering if they actually send out the exact paints they use on their toys.
  19. Thanks Dollow and Thanks to VF-15 Banshee for bringing this here. I didnt realize it was a podcast. I thought Dollow was recording it to write an article with later. lol.
  20. It was good. I had to calm myself down before I watched it, make sure I wasn't just gonna like IT because it's BSG. 1st part is standard but 2nd part is great. And both parts looked great. I had a problem with too much sound in space in the first scene but *snip*... rest of it was more muffled. I think they can back off a bit more on the sound. The original reboot always made it feel like the vipers and raptors were just hurdling thru space with very little thrust and it gave an awesome feeling. This sneak felt big though.... it ain't no webisode, I can tell you that much. Oh yeah... software engineer.... HOT!
  21. It's been shipped. I'll take pics of the different valks on the stand. Most important will be the VF-1 with FPs because it's the heaviest one I think.
  22. Does Stick ever use this in the show? image from mahq. don't remember.
