  1. Ok. Here's what I got as far as an angled adapter. This won't require a separate adapter. It'll take the place of the part with the screw, so you just have to remove that piece and pop this in. The thicker dimensions and the additional material needed to angle it makes this $8.95 before shipping. But I have to test it first... top (attaches to Yamato adapter) Bottom (attaches to Bandai stand)
  2. I can make a tighter version but it's harder to deal with a tighter tolerance than a looser one. I'll put it up tonight. The fixed angle is a great idea. You can actually just take off the collar that has the screw and replace it with one whole piece. I'll play with that also. If anyone else experiences looseness let me know, but the one I have fits just right. I'll put up a tighter version and order it with the fixed angle version. How about the hole that holds the Yamato adapter?
  3. The forum is too seperated. The threads moved faster when everyone could enjoy both models and toys. Now you're either one or the other and the build ups don't get much attention either. Because that's on a whole other section. Anyway, I have a bunch of these parts. Phatslappy moved and gave me all his rob beers, chris berretta parts and old jetfire parts. I can make Ostriches and Elints for free. lol. But I'm not sure what to do with those things.
  4. Never got to actually get all of these. I started but just got the first few. I'm glad to be getting another chance.
  5. The Regult was sold monthly, what you possibly saw was the quota reached for that month. HLJ sold it thru their site a couple of months later. Yamato stopped production as soon as the sales didn't reach the minimum. It's possible that HLJ bought out the rest of the stock that month and kept it on their site until they sold it all.
  6. Hi everyone. I just wanted to start a proper thread for this. I put up adapters for Gundam stands that can hold up Yamato valks. Here's some images that CoreyD posted on http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=37622'>his thread. Heres' the link for them: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/exodigital'>http://www.shapeways...hops/exodigital And here's the HLJ link to the stands: http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?Word=gundam+stands&DisplayMode=images&Dis=2&Sort=std&qid=IHYE32P2QUVS4Q&set=1&q=1&MacroType2=displaybse'>http://www.hlj.com/s...ype2=displaybse It's an inexpensive solution for your display needs. Thanks! I've uploaded the adapters that removes the need for the hinge. It makes for a more sturdier stand and can actually hold a 1/48 with Fast Packs. I had to create ones with angles that bank because removing the hinge means less pose-ability There should be enough variety to suit your needs. I've also renamed the product so the number of different ones won't be confusing. B2Y - Bandai to Yamato B2Y classic - the original ones that people have been purchasing that goes on the hinged part of the stand. Allows more pose-ability but won't hold heavier valks B2Y unhinged - comes in three varieties: level, Starboard (banking) and Port (banking) I've also bundled them up in different sorts for price breaks.
  7. I posted it here and it was on the facebook page.
  8. Hey Big F, what are you using to rip your stuff? Can it do bluray? I have the WDTV live and I just love the thing. I'm ripping all my media to a 3TB HD and I'm gonna shove all the cases in a box and put them i the garage.
  9. It's like they hire the same company every year to design posters.
  10. Yeah, it's the HDP kit. That's over and done with.
  11. standing up? or as a replacement?
  12. I guess we won't find out until we get it on hand. I thought that you can't remove it because from the prototype pics, it's metal. And metal hinges usually mean that they are pinned down. But usually, especially with transforming toys, parts are designed to pop off to keep them from breaking. More from Yamato Twitter. Apparently touching the display will give you an electric jolt, that's what i get from the hand with the lightning bolt on it...
  13. I guess the leg covers are removeable.
  14. True, and I would rather get decent fan subs than added cost. I would trust English subs by a Japanese company as much as I would trust Japanese subs on an American series done by Americans. But I would agree that english subs would gather more international buyers, because I think more people think the same as jvm. Not sure if the increase in buyers would offset costs of adding subs though.
  15. They took off the parts in gerwalk here though... Woohoo! Panic ensues!
  16. maybe we should try my computer... quick! paypal me the money!
  17. I still haven't seen the Japanese version but one of my goals for the end of next year is to have custom figures of Dana, Mari and Nova done and maybe a hovercycle.
  18. the leg covers should just close back up in battroid. There's 2 metal swing bars that pivot out and clears the opening. In gerwalk the top of the leg stays up in the opening, that's when the leg covers need to stay open.
  19. Awesome Tochiro! Nice write up! I think those are all the ones that's been releasedOne more from Yamato's twitter acct:
  20. Would look great with decals and panel lines. I wanna hear details than see more pics, really. I guess we've seen this thing in every angle already.
  21. OK. Tochiro just said he's at the reveal! Someone better come back with some images!!!
