that'd be a nice arrangement for Bandai and Yamato. Bandai can sell their limited web exclusives and then Yamato can satisfy the rest with their made to order or mass production line. In that case I'd wait for Yamato's version.

It's just a 3D printout to get the fighter proportions. If its a toy then they'll start cutting the different components in.

They just stated that they're still remodeling the battroid form. Fixes are being applied and everyone should stay tune to updates. My guess is they just printed out the proportions of the fighter in battroid and had the hobby magazines release it for feedbacks... the response was overwhelmingly ummm... critical. lol.

lol... Shawn will love you for that... I kinda agree. I like the YF-30 exept for that missile bar but I think someone needs to send Kawamori some new lego pieces.

That's why you read the main page. We broke the news about the "Kronos" designation (to the english speaking readers anyway) and the the teaser for this has been there for more than 24 hours. lol. It's displayed with the others toys though. EDIT: It's is still unconfirmed though... that's why I haven't posted the pics in the front page. We'll just stick with the teaser until someone confirms scale and toy/model.

Who's Padme? Episode 2&3? All I remember was that he wanted to hang out with Luke and rule the universe with him. Even made room for a cooler new hand. Hehe... Cool Hand Luke.

I'm glad they separated the skulls from the black tailfin markings. I think I rather paint the black stripes in. Nice that they also added the 101. Now all we need is a more accurate FB pilot.

I'll see if I can design some for the 1/48s... I wont be able to test it tho... spending too much on r&D and not enough on actual current projects. I'll make it so it won't be dependent so much on tolerance. The ones that come with the stands can't hold the valk with the gun anyway... I'll see if there's a way to resolve that. -

Removing the piece with the screw actually makes it more stable. I'm going to make some in different angles and send it on to Shapeways. Also again, all tolerance are checked so the adapters fit tighter after all the powder is cleaned off. As you can see, it can actually hold a 1/48 with Fast Packs even at extreme angles. You do need the extra square piece for sure to stabilize the base. It tips over with out it. Like mechtech suggested, maybe weighing it down wil make it more stable but for me I think it's enough. I even shook the base slightly to make sure it doesn't tip over. It sways just like the adapter with the screw with a 1/60FP but it never fell over.

Finally got the adjusted adapters... I cleaned the crap out of the powder first and tested it... It's a nice tight fit. I also got the angled adapters. The fit is great also. I'll test out the stability later and take some more photos.
