  1. I love that ship! Can't wait to see it done!
  2. That's a negatory, Alpha! There really isn't a point on having the full image shown on screen. Like I said, it'll take toll on a lot of regular threads. Again, on most threads, people don't mean to post Hi-Res images, they're just to lazy to figure out how to resize. For Wallpaper threads and other threads that would require large images you can post a preview and then attach a zip file of the full resolution picture. Hikaru VF-1J Gerwalk.zip
  3. maybe if there was a P-Touch Label Maker that can handle small fonts then you can make pilot name stickers. They DO have white on clear labels.
  4. Forum Software... with the main page hosting images, large podcast files, all the attachments from the galleries on the forum and people generally posting ridiculously large versions of out of focus generally bad phone images and a lot of members that attach a lot of non macross or related things on the various threads, We made the decision to put a cap on the unlimited size of attachments. We also made the thumbnails a lot bigger so you don't have to click on the images to see them in the first place. Add the fact that we're going to redo all of the resource database on the main page and we're to try to make sure that it's all hi-res scans, not old photographs from the 80s and 90s. It all takes toll on the guy paying the bills. These are things done to make your forum experience faster and more enjoyable, not to make you suffer and insist that you look at images at a tiny 1200 pixels wide resolution, you poor dears... Like Zinjo mentioned... there's still options such as the numerous image hosting places that will let you post images in even higher resolutions.
  5. Try messing with the custom setting on each forum. As for searching, how far back are you looking?
  6. Takatoys stickers were the best! Sharp printing and he crammed the whole sheet with extras. I still use all the left overs I have.
  7. Added shield and asked Derex if I could use his font to make the Hasegawa version. Hase Ver. Yammie ver.
  8. Just finished it. Nice that you guys got the room, I even mentioned hoping you'd do that here: http://www.macrossworld.com/3581/macross-karaoke-rooms-in-ikebukuro/
  9. Looks great Derex! Let me know if you find a source for white printer... I got so many customs I wanna do... Here's the Yamato type Angel Bird markings for the legs. PM me if you want a set for your 1/60 AB.
  10. LOL. I think I used to have the KITT and Michael Knight set. The door opens and you can sit him in it. It was an awesome toy. One man can make a difference, and that man is you Michael. Tantanana Tantanana Tantanana nana!!!
  11. Nice find Reivaj and MM. I've always wondered what that said.
  12. As far as I know Macross never aired in the US either.
  13. dang. OK. I'll scan and clean them up tonight. Just to be clear this is just the leg decals right? Because I can't print white ink like Anazasi...
  14. Hayao Kakizaki made some Hasegawa style decals for the 1/48 complete with the emblem. I'm sure he can make some for the 1/60. The ones for the 1/48 were different. I can scan it and print it if anyone wants.
  15. Man, now I want to see this thing in fully animated action.
  16. Happy New Year! Flash Forward 2013!!!
  17. Click on the small pic to get to the big pic...
  18. wrong scheme but who cares!
  19. Never finished it because CMs came out with theirs and it made me lazy... lol
  20. Saint seiya http://bit.ly/UdpVRc Holy cow. I just checked the prices for my figma archetype figures. They're going for more than a hundred bucks each. EDIT: just noticed the expensive shipping on that Saint Seiya fig. If you can find it cheap, go for it.
  21. They sell blank female figma figures that fit perfectly in the Q-Rau. I started one a while back that I was sculpting from a cheap Saint Seiya figure I got from Toys R US or something. It would have been perfect because it had a basic body and it included the long green hair, It was a male figure but you can't tell with those SS characters... they're so fay.
  22. Finally got the subbed version. Gonna watch it later today or tomorrow. I agree with Peter, though, I'm not a student of the Japanese culture. I'm just an aficionado of adventure of well done action films. The Yamada films are my favorites because they bring a lot of depth and takes the Samurai down to a more believable level. I've compared it to Eastwood's The Unforgiven, where the hero is an ordinary man but just happens to be a skilled warrior. I don't advise watching all three at once though, because they're too similar in tone. For some reason I didn't like "When The Last Sword is Drawn". People always recommend it to me when they hear I like the Yamada films. I don't think it comes near those three. But that's not to say I won't enjoy this one. My favorite manga is Blade of the Immortal, where the warriors pretty much reach superhero status. I'm hoping this will be done well. And then there's the middle, where Kurosawa's type of films reside among the top tier. The warriors are ordinary men but the situation is a bit heightened to give it a good adventurous pace. I think in Hollywood or Western type films this is where Sergio Leone's Man with No Name or even the original Indiana Jones from the first film belong. I'm a huge Kurosawa fan also. But sometimes I feel like going in and editing in some blood splatter... lol.
  23. I saw that too... I think it refers to the size of the picture of the banner, not that there's one on display.
