Here's what I call my GPS... ghetto paint station. Most of the money was spent on the blower and vent, also a couple of work lights. Everything else was found in the garage. The big box is a case for Yamato 1/48s and you can see what holds the filter. I was putting together a booth made of plastic bins but I couldn't find a good size plus I thought the cold and the repeated reheating of the room would make it crack. I gotta say though, this thing is sturdy and you can see the particles getting pulled into the filter against the light. Rohby put together the blower on a stand for me. Getting a lot of painting done.

About the spray booth. Just make sure that you change your filter often enough. It should be mostly air that gets pulled into that vent tube. Leave your fan on for a while to push out all the air once you're done painting. If you're worried about extra chemicals going outside you can put a lint trap in the middle of the tube close to your booth for extra filtering. Of course use the right filter not regular lint wire.

I wear my mask the whole time. Sanding. cleaning, and painting. Just bought a case of filters too. Buying by the case is about the same as buying the cheap disposable ones. I gotta wear my goggles more though, just bought a new one. I don't know if you spray chrome but we usually use gloss black underneath to really bring up the reflextion. kyekye, you're in Irvine! I need to go see that awesome SDF-1.

I mean I knew that the transformation was thought of after. I never realized that you have to get the license for battroid since it was never shown. I thought it was an all encompassing thing, but it makes sense. I like that scheme for the VF-4G though. All valks should be released in gray, specially if they are unpainted versions.

If you dig far enough you'd know that Yamato has lost rights to molds before I didn't realize that about the 2 licenses. I figure they had both licenses since they've made toys from VFX before they'd just need the FB2012. Watching FB way back when I just figured they did transform but didn't have the battle scenes to show it in that video.

The VF-4 is kinda different. People would have been happy seeing the one scheme everyone wanted which is the FB2012 but seeing how they couldn't get the license they went straight to the repaint, lol. And one would be enough. But with Mospeada, you either do just one or you do all four, or in the case of the Legioss/Tread all three. So you kinda need that first one to be a success for sure. It'd be interesting if Arcadia gets the license to SDF:M and DYRL, M7 and M+ but not the rights to Yamato's molds. I do think that people are right to pick up the VF-19P now and as for the kits they were planning, I think those were DOA. Just get me those 1/60 Fire Bomber figures, Renato! Like a ninja!!!

I think it's who ever is in charge of the machine that day. The order before this I already swore off Shapeways. This time it looks great. The prices are what keeps me coming back. Their FUD is one of the most expensive materials and that's the one I use most. But if you price other places, FUD is on the cheap side. These are 1/60. I'll try to order 1/48 soon.

These are garage kit makers. I doubt they can afford a full toy license... besides, some of the sculpts are so bad you wouldn't want to have a ton of those in the market.

That's the point... when they get signed the publicity dept of the agency gives them a list of movies on the back burner to beef up the press release. Not saying it's exactly what happened here but it's the case most of the time. It's just like when they start or reboot a franchise, they release a statement saying it's been greenlit for a sequel before the movie is actually released, then you never hear another word from it or it gets rebooted again without addressing the last movie.

I believe the director is already making one movie and attached to this and another film. I'm not sure if there's an official release from WB about RT.

There's also this thing in Hollywood when they sign a new director, they attach projects to his/her name to create buzz. They choose the projects that best fit their reels or commercial so that there's a reason for the press release.

Thanks for doing this, I'll be seeding this also. I have to redownload. Torrent crashed. But I got a partial and it's such a great read. Can't believe something like this is free.
