    That's why I think Star Trek is a property made for TV. The diminishing numbers of fans that go to the movies to see what Star Trek is suppose to be shows that a 2 hour movie just isn't enough time to involve people to a deeper story. But yet shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Justified have that slow boiler type of storylines that really attract viewers. Even Galactica had a good balance of story depth and adventure. Maybe they should have 12 episodes seasons for Star Trek that explore one full mission instead. But at the same time if people keep seeing the Abrams version, it'll be too much to have 2 running storylines with the same characters. When you look at the numbers, The Original Star Trek movie had better returns than The Abrams version. The original almost tripled it's production budget domestically (Probably more than quadrupled worldwide) and the last ST just passed the double mark.

    Yeah. FPs looks too small and has weird shapes. They'll probably rework it but why even show it off if it looks that far off. And too kibbly (word?) at 1/72 scale. If Bandai produces that to be stable in any mode, it'd be incredibly impressive.

    You have to remember that when the low viz came out there wasn't really any other Macross toys competing against it. Most of us bought one and then when it came out that it was limited everyone had time to buy them up. When the v.2 ostrich came out, Yamato was producing valks one right after the other. And they were known to eventually reissue unless they specifically said that it was limited. So a lot of fans decided to skip it for other toys or wait for it to hit the bargain bins.The VF-4 had an even lower run than those two valks. The production numbers that Yamato runs makes them seem like medium sized third party transformers company. Except Yamato paid the licenses. One valk that's probably extremely limited is the 1/48 kakizaki TV-1A from the Macross Chronicle promo.

    That's a good question. A couple of years ago, we would probably all agree that the 1/48 Low Viz was it but they've released so many low run and exclusives since then. The 1/60 v.2 Millia? The 1/2000 Macross? 1/60 The Regult? the 1/60 DYRL Nousjadeul-Ger?
