Restoring whites on sun damaged yellowed Yamato VF-1

... FYI, I got a bunch of TF toys... I love 'em! -
There's one thing that worries me about this episode. That we'll never see Khaleesi naked again.

Diagrams and reference drawings for a large scale VF-1 or VF-0
EXO replied to Blazerwing's topic in The Workshop!
For this project, I'd definitely get the book Variable Master File VF-0 Phoenix. I don't remember it having a head on view, but it has top, bottom, left and right views along with cutaways and other part detail you'll ever need to have an accurate fighter model. http://www.hlj.com/product/SOF36808/Sci you can also find it in Japanese book stores or other on-line import places. as far as making the model itself, are you going to add filler primer on the foam? If so I'd say invest on a couple of sanding blocks and a lot of sanding sticks to get the smoothest surface. And a god panel line scriber would also work. Also check out mech techs Giant Daedalus thread for some tips. It's not a VF but it's very informative for a build that size. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18403 -
Maybe it's because you HAVE been informed before. How about extending us THE MODS a smidgen of courtesy. People are told over and over that this is a Macross site. Everything else, in this section. Thanks! Just venting my frustration.

I've always thought that the sandman would be great on HBO, Showtime or AMC. They simply can't stuff it all into movies unless they do it like a Harry Potter series. Benedict Cumberbatch for Dream!!!- 26 replies

You need to get the rest of the Starks to go with your Iron Man.

Two Banes and no Talia Al Ghoul? That's criminal! Did you get Catwoman? Now this would put the HOT in Hot Toys

I do agree mostly with the preference of making the dialogue sound more natural. I think some fan subbers always do direct word for word translations. But I think "big brother" is a bad example because no one really use that phrase in english. I'd rather hear sempai because it's probably a more natural thing that you'd hear in what's being said. Other than that I always use my friends that don't watch anime as a gauge on how receptive they are with the translations, dubs or subs. I feel like they get lost in the story more when it feels more natural and they don't have to figure out what the characters are trying to say when they're already reading (or hearing) it in english. To me the Studio Ghibli films dubs are pretty good examples.

Nope... sorry. There's no magic cure. This has been discussed exhaustively in these forums because of all the yellowing plastics in people's collection but the results show that the peroxide whitened valks start to yellow again at a faster rate. It's not recommended. -
You can buy the remastered Animeigo DVDs from robotech.com store.

That is sexy! Let's see one fully painted!

Hmmm. Wonder if rinsing out with water is the reason my airbrush is still like new. But I was already thinking of getting something else to clean with. This will make me try to figure out what I'm going to replace windex with. See GU... I'm still learning too.

No thanks, but I'll take a beer! Badabump! Psssshhhh!!!!

he mentioned that ISO isn't available in his country... Not sure about that brand of window cleaner. You can just use the thinner but any window cleaner with ammonia should do the trick. I need to get one of those cleaning stations. Right now since I don't have a sink I'm putting everything in a giant glass container and hold a piece of towel on top while I spray into it. lol.

Usually there's a link if it goes back to the original artist or if its the source of art. But most if that stuff is found on the web. The next one I'll link to his pixiv account.

You're gonna run into a lot of crap you're not prepared for. I've been doing it for a while and while I've gone passed the beginner's stage, I'm still thrown for a loop. I'm trying to switch brands of paint right because the amount of paint i've been using lately is just ridiculous. And while most of it has been going good one small thing that goes wrong puts me behind by a lot. I just ordered a hose and it came defective. Now I have to wait for another one while the one I'm using leaks out as I'm trying to paint. Anyway, don't let that dishearten you. I'm just letting you know that most of what you're going to learn are thru misakes or just part of the learning process. I've had my first ever airbrush, an Iwata-C, for 20 years and when I bought it, I was a broke student, but it's lasted me all these years. I guess it's durable and in a way spending a lot then has saved me money all these years. I clean out by AB every week or as soon as it starts to shoot funny. In between colors or when I need to stop spraying for a while I run some windex thru it and then some water. When there's some stubborn paint that is dried up I get some acetone and a swab. Acetone is some nasty stuff though. Don't spray it around and put some gloves and your mask on. Didn't you say you had a part missing? Could it be leaking because of that?
