    That's kinda sad to hear since he's such a big impact in anime in general, not just Macross but several other cartoons. Also, I would think that his fans would appreciate his work no matter what it is since fans of artist usually admire technique as much as subject matter. I for one would feel lucky to see him speak about his new work as well as his old stuff. Hearing someone like that talk about his work would be so inspiring and an immeasurable resource.

    I wish they would figure out a kit that gives us a gray unpainted valk. I know... getting ahead... I'm still stoked.

    Yeah, I wouldn't recommend clogging your airbrush on purpose... Though I've been getting in the bad habit of forgetting to flush it out lately... I'm losing my mind. I did buy these things called interdental brushes to clean out my AB. Works like magic to get into the tight spaces and get the gunk out. They come with a bunch for about $5... it's like a lifetime supply.

    From what I've read, you use future to dissolve itself. If it happens again, maybe adding a good amount will dissolve the dried up leftovers and after a while it can be cleaned out with rubbing alcohol. Just a theory.

    Lol, the day is saved? I made one comment and people think that pretty much covered everything wrong with the model. Let's wait for the next pic where the head is made smaller to where it's proportional and then you can take down this comment too.

    Wasn't Max and Millia in the Skull Squadron? Just like Hikaru's Vermillion team was under Fockers. My guess would be if he became the Skull Leader he'd get a black and yellow one because in the TV show it was in the lineage of the Jolly Rogers colors, unlike in DYRL where everyone got their own valk with the skull emblem with different colors assigned to them. I also think they get a whole new valkyrie and a new strike pack in DYRL. That's all just my imagination though.

    Definitely a display piece for me. I hope Tenjin does a Hasegawa Box Art that I can frame next to this someday. Also, I think this will be limited, so the price reflects that and the tampo process. Just a guess.

    Cancer107 is in L.A.? yes that was me that posted it. I actually posted all three pictures and credited you, but Facebook just uploaded it and didn't post it, so I ended up sharing one picture. Stupid FB. But my jaw dropped when I saw that picture.. I definitely think they are hot! Where do we say hello to them?

    I think he was casted because of his involvement with Fringe, the TV series. He was great in it. I was wishing he would have told the Enterprise, "Dead or alive, you're coming with me!"

    I saw Ray Manzarek at my very first concert ever. Echo and the Bunnymen at the Universal Amphitheater. He played the keyboards on "Bedbugs and Ballyhoo" and their cover of "People are Strange" for the Lost Boys soundtrack. Pretty fortunate to have caught him play live once in my life.
