    I'm not gonna tell people not to see it, but the reaction from people that are somewhat familiar with the story is that this is suppose to be one of Japan's most sacred "historical" legend. First, the fact that an American actor steps into the tale and is "their only hope" would make such people snicker and then you add monsters, magic and dragons... then it's just WTF? I mean... it's equivalent to making a movie about Abraham Lincoln picking up an axe to fight vampires. Seriously? An axe? Everyone knows you use wooden stakes or sunlight to kill vampires! It's madness! Madness I tell you!!!

    Good Smile did the really expensive Sheryl Figure with the gears and her ass sticking out with the bunny tail... I'm sure there's a shorter name for it. lol. It's advertised as Max Factory but it's all over Good Smile's page and was at last year's Good Smile's booth... I agree. Hopefully that Hikaru Save mentioned will show up at WF as part of that line.

    Beagle main lines were dolls just like Yamato and Arcadia. Ride Armors was suppose to be their initial entry into action figures and transforming toys.

    The announcements by military were all done in english and most of the letters were written in english also (e.g.: Minmay's acceptance letter into the Miss Macross contest.) Misa's translation of DYRL was done in english so we can also assume that it was sung by Minmay in english.

    The only semblance to Macross on that SDCC Jetfire SkyStriker is the unreversed black and red stripes on top.

    That Leo rumor, even though the percentage of it being true is really low, probably already made it to Tommy Yune's powerpoint presentation as a bullet point. So expect to see that at those convention panel videos for the next five years.

    Argument is moot anyway.... we'll never find out because it's never going to court. Like I said, HG will take a dollar in private settlement just to show they're actively protecting their property.

    YEah, but that's Jetfire... HG's claim is that it's too close to Macross, meaning it's too closeto Hikaru's DYRL scheme... which Hasbro already avoided by changing it to the red FPs and reversed placement of the stripes back in the 80s. HG has no claim over the Jetfire scheme.
