  1. Nobody, even Graham, knows everything that Yamato has planned. We know that Yamato will do more with the Mac+ valks and will do Mac0 valks. There will be other projects like a huge Monster, Q-Rau, and 1/60 GBP. I'm sure there will be more for the 1/48 VF-1's but it all depends on if there is demand for it in Japan. Like most other companies, Yamato remains tight lipped about their plans for the future. They don't want to give the competition any ideas and they don't want fanboys getting all worked up about something that may or may not happen.
  2. I don't care for the MPC VF-1's and I hate Battly Cry but that looks pretty sweet. I like the colors and for some reason it looks sharper than other MPC's. However, I remember being impressed with one pic of the Hikaru VF-1J that looked very different from the actual product. The stance in that pic was identical to this one so you have to wonder. It's still cool that Toynami is doing something different even if they are doing that stupid limited edition crap again.
  3. Okay, now I can get in. I had an old address or something (imacross4.dynu.net). Thanks, boinger. BTW - I used SmartFTP and WinXP with my MW username.
  4. I ask for toys and such but rarely get them. Since the ones I want are hard to find in town or really expensive, I usually get other stuff. Video games are easier to get so I usually ask for a few of them.
  5. Super nice paint job.
  6. I used to hate country but I don't mind it now that I am a little older. All the new "new country" stuff is garbage just like most of the mainstream music. Old school stuff like Hank or Willie isn't so bad and some of it is actually pretty good. But I don't listen to it unless someone else has it on. I listen to a variety of music that I guess you could call alternative but freaking everything is called alternative these days. I hate this new alternative junk they got now where it is just like the butt/hair bands of the 80's. The only difference is that they are trying to pull themselves off as serious musicians. I used to and still dislike rap. It seems to get worse every year. The reason I hate rap is that it is just someone reading out lyrics very loudly while playing a record. Rock rap is kind of cool as so is anything where it is an actual band creating music. Some of my favorites: BRMC, Spiritualize, The Pillows, Neutral Milk Hotel, Galaxie 500, Jesus and the Mary Chain, The Strokes, Jane's Addiction, Pixies, Curve, Slipstream, Smashing Pumpkins (only their old stuff), Wedding Present, Ride, Radiohead, and Calexico. That's all I can think of now.
  7. I still can't get in through smartftp. It tries to connect but then says: "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond."
  8. really??? that could mean cheap 1/72 19a's in my future I don't think the vf19a will be redone - just the yf19. The vf19a is pretty much a limited edition - a one time deal. There are rumors that both the yf21 and vf11b will be redone. Rumors also say Yamato will move to a two-scale release schedule - one small (like 1/72) and one big (1/48). But these are just rumors and even if they are true, things can still change. The only thing Graham has confirmed is that Yamato is working on a new yf19 and there will be nothing new until Spring 2004.
  9. Looking fantastic. Keep the pics coming.
  10. I have never seen the yf-21 look any better. I wish I could see you work in person because I bet it looks even more amazing than the pics. I just love the metal look of the guns and exhaust tips as well as the look of the landing gears. I do think you need to do something about the blue on the canopy detail. It just doesn't look right to me. I'm not sure if it is the color or that it looks more glossy than the rest of the plane. I also think the Macross kite symbols could be toned down a bit. The bright red really stands out against the tamer blue. Maybe it is supposed to look like that but I think it would look better with a little weathering. I also agree with Capt Hungry. Pics with the 21 and the 19 together are a must.
  11. Just wait. Yamato is redoing the Mac+ valks with better designs and hopefully larger scales.

    1:60 GBP-1 !?

Wow, I am suprised to see that and more suprised that nobody mentioned it before if it was in a show. I thought Yamato was finished with 1/60 scale but I guess not. Cool beans!
  13. I'm not sure if I understand your question but I will give it a shot. To change the key binds for the controls, hit Tab and then use the arrow keys to scroll down to the control you want to change. Hit the enter key and then the key you want to bind to it. That should erase all the other binds to that control and only use the one you just selected. If you hit enter again, you can add other keys to be binded at the same time. To erase all the binds again, just scroll away from the control and then back. Hit enter and all the previous binds should be erased.
  14. Thanks for the link. While I enjoyed the first two episodes, I have to agree that the series needs some direction very quickly.
  15. Gakken is the only company that ever made Mospeada toys that I know of. They were sold in numerous different boxes around the world and Henshin Robo was one of them. Like the Legioss, Gakken sold the Mospeadas in different scales. What you need to recognize is the difference between the larger, more collectible Mospeada's and the smaller, cheaper ones. The one you posted is the large scale version.
  16. Me, too. I got that before so I didn't think much of it but it has been doing that for a while now.
  17. In that case, take it apart and sand down the metal doing the damage.
  18. Interesting. I will have to remember that next time someone has a problem installing xp.
  19. bling bling valks
  20. Shredding sounds pretty severe but a groove is common. You can weaken the spring or file down the peg a little but that will mean the legs won't be as secure in battroid mode. I had to do this on one of my old customs because the peg was scratching off the paint.
  21. I'm dieing to get a G35 myself. I want a G35 sedan with the sport package and Nismo aero kit. The problem is that to get the sport package, you also have to get the leather interior and sunroof which adds a lot to the cost. It really bugs me when you have to get one option when selecting another. What's the point of having separate options when they have to be bundled? Anyways, back to the topic - Yamato won't be doing Mac7 toys anytime soon since Bandai still owns the rights to Mac7. At least that is what I heard. Yamato appears to have their hands full with redoing Mac+ valks and all the new Mac0 valks. After they finish all the variants and different scales of those, who knows what they will do next but that will a long time from now.
  22. I was thinking about getting Halo but now I don't know. I think I will just wait for some of the bigger titles later this year. These days, I don't really like a playing video game unless it is really good. I don't know why it took them so long to get Halo on the PC when that is what they started developing it on. I suppose Microsoft finally figure out that their XBox isn't going to set any sales records so they might as well make what money they can elsewhere.
  23. Incredible work, GunnerX.
  24. Sounds like you need to burn down the HD and start over. At least check or change your video drivers. It also sounds like there are problems with the HD or the firmware of your laptop. XP cannot be blamed for everything when there are ton of bad programs/drivers out there. Viruses are always going to be a problem and its not always Microsofts fault. XP is the better all around Windows out there right now. Win98 sucks because it is still a DOS based OS and has little to no security or system controls. If I were you, I would just burn down the HD and reinstall WinXP.
  25. I would recommend not trying to update Win98 and doing a reformat/fresh install of WinXP. I've always heard problems of people trying to upgrade. I think the source of problems are XP using current Win98 drivers when it can't find new XP drivers for your hardware. There could also be background programs that are not XP compatible that will try to run on bootup. I feel it is always best to start fresh when you can. When I upgraded to XP from 98, I bought a new harddrive and installed XP on that. I still had my old harddrive where I could still boot into 98. Some of my older programs had to be upgraded/patched to run in XP. It was far easier to deal with these issues one at a time instead of all together.
