    Did they ever mold it or something on the VF-25 (both editions)? The problem is, those little thrusters on the VF-25 are really small from a toy perspective and may not have warranted having them on the mold.

    I quick-viewed last night. Go for the Ultimate cut. It doesn't fix some of the story issues, but it flows and does some of the characterizations soooo much better than the theatrical cut. In the 18-months since his appearance, I'm sure stories have been written about him and people have reported his abilities.

    I'm in agreement with Seito on this. The King felt that Johnson was moving so he stepped up his time table. NUNS already said, "We're gonna nuke the site. We need to move the civilians out now." Then steps in Lady M and delays the nuke till Elysion counterattacks? Had Gramia not felt Johnson coming, it might have worked and delayed Windermere. But nope. The only upside to all of this is the nuke took out a chunk of the Windermeran fleet.

    I'd take a decent wager that the Drakens lacks a fold wave system, ISC and some of the creature comforts from the YF-24-family. If the newest plane you flew was a VF-171, a VF-19, or a VF-22, chances are you'll feel at home with a Sv-262. Windermere physiology can probably handle the Gs so they don't need ISC. Windermeran runes likely make them very receptive to their environments and the people around them so that would mean each pilot already has some kind of a fold-wave system they are born with.

    From the sounds of it, Axanar folks were making some monetary payback off a property they don't own. If actors were getting paid, professional people were getting paid for services, or if the producers paid themselves, then that's income generated by someone. Someone made money off a product they didn't own. Yes, CBS/Paramount are going to make people angry with these guidelines, but they own the franchise. If they don't do this, then that makes them potentially liable for any legalities, however minor.

    That would sound about right about sanctions.

    Yep. Ask we've mentioned on this site, technically, all fan works are IP infringement. Paramount/CBS is just putting it in writing what is tolerable according to the law. As I said, if they didn't do this, it basically opens them to a lot more trouble.

    How many fan productions have gone to the level of this fan work? As much as fans may be screaming about these guidelines, people forget that Paramount/CBS needs to protect themselves from any legal ramifications fan productions could produce.

    IIRC, Kawamori's comments regarding the VF-31 are meant to indicate that the VF-31 is "evolutionary", not revolutionary. So the VF-31's specs aren't meant to "wow" us, but should reflect updates in the YF-24-family.

    Don't know how the Battroid-folding thing jump started this, but couldn't they use the super fold boosters, which were designed to punch through fold faults, to jump into Windermere?

    It is the pilot episode. They won't draw you in if the first thing you see looks like a pile of crap. Sit-down viewing. I'm gonna agree with Seto and echo the negative review. I would agree with the NUNS weasel. Nuke the ruins. I suspect Windermere did blow their ruins but they likely used something bigger. A smaller, focused detonation might be enough. With Gramia running, I guess he doesn't want to play fair like Ernest said he use to talk up. I'm gonna say it again, Windermere needs to suffer a "L" on their record. Otherwise, this is gonna get boring, really fast. The only reason Windermere is hijacking forces is they know they would lose a straight fight. Their fleet is made up of only small ships. Their only big ship is the refitted Protoculture ship, which is also not something of their own making, i.e., they essentially hijacked it like they've been doing to all the opposition. And with what, 1 SDF-type vessel coming at them, they run. The combine Al Shahal and Windermere fleet would likely be able to take on a small task force coming at them. What did Messer say, there's no such thing as a fair fight in combat? So Gramia is saying even with 2 fleets, he wouldn't win and decides to play tag??
