  1. No announcement of a movie was made during this episode. Not saying there will or won't be an announcement at some point, only no announcement was made during this episode.
  2. Let's get this over with... Negative. -It ended but I don't feel like it resolved anything. They only closed up the story but Windermere is still kicking. NUNS and everyone in the 'Cluster should just nuke them from orbit. Only way to be sure. They have been shown to be an intolerable threat, so they should remove that threat. But they let them go... Heinz is still alive. the Knights are mostly still alive. SV is still flying. I have no idea why they brought up Lady M last week if she has no bearing on the story. Yeah, sure they'll flake away but they're still alive. -While the mecha scenes were nice, it was mostly talking heads again with load of celestial spider-web bondage. It looks like a bunch of cobb webs. -No final battle between the Aerial Knights and Delta. It was pretty light on dogfighting altogether. -I'm not impressed by Elysion. It would have been nice to see a Hemura/Aether combined blast. -Swap Kumo-Kumo with Ranka, take away Hayate, and you have part of Frontier's last episode all over again. A Macross cuts a hole in the ship. A VF goes to save the singer. -So they resolved the triangle. Guess that's a plus. But I lost interest during the birthday episode as it seemed like a sure thing by that point. Didn't really do much for me. And Freyja will be dead in about 15 years. Haya-Haya is free to date afterwards, Mirage. -Color changing Drakens. And they happen to be white. Last episode of Frontier. Again. -Roid making a fold-network. That's Grace's plan. That's the last episode of Frontier. All. Over. Again. -The Keith/Roid bromance is over. Guess that's good? -Drakens have swords. They bring that up...now. -Music montage in this episode was a thumbs down. Just overall wasted potential.
  3. Haven't watch it but this sounds like a reskin of Frontier's last episode. Which means my thumb is drifting downward.
  4. Still with the bondage huh Roid... Next episode preview summary
  5. Also my excuse. If I can't find readily compatible parts, don't expect me to fix it.
  6. Yes. I hear some train station turnstile card readers still run Windows 2000.
  7. Windows 7 EOL is still scheduled for 2020. End of sales is this October.
  8. As I said, whether you think can end in 1 more episode or not is irrelevant. The series will end. Will it end to your satisfaction? We'll find out on Sunday. If a movie is made, we shall see if it's a complete teardown or if it will be a that dangling ending they're gonna lead us around with for 6 months.
  9. Again, that was my reasoning based off the various story points they gave us throughout the show. The conclusion they gave was Wright deliberately disobeyed orders which is something I find a little poorly written. Whether that's the narrative they want to play with or if there's more to this story, we shall find out on Sunday.
  10. One wish which probably won't happen. No more scissor moves.
  11. I will share my thought about this later. Yes, I will mark this as lazy writing if the reason they gave is the one they are going with (Wright lied, disobeyed orders and decided to go off course and drop the MDE in a "safe" location (how about "safe" being a un-populated area), NUNS takes over and decides to ditch the evidence). Because my train of thought follows, if you're gonna throw it in, you better use it. Anyways, off to the mindless speculation... BUT at this point, I'm not going to bother dwelling on this. If the reason they stated is their final answer, then fine. So be it. One episode to go. Not much time for anything else now.
  12. Fold faults surrounding Windermere prevent craft from folding directly into Windermere territory. Which makes the NUN fleet approaching by sub-light even dumber. As I said, a fleet should have gone through the fold gates and attacked. But that idea has now faded away. No point dwelling on it now. edit: Sorry, read that as Winderemere. No idea why they didn't go to Ragna. It would have made more sense than a head-on fight to Windermere.
  13. And the thumb goes down. Nice moment with Frejya and Hayate, but that was it. The only bright spot in a sea of talking heads and what the hell happened to the animation in the middle? Seriously, who the hell did they farm that sequence to? Really, what does revealing who Lady M do for this story, NOW? Does it help defeat Winderemere? No. Does it rescue Mikumo? No. Does it magically give them a freakin army to take to Ragna? No. That one got blown up. Does it help our cast resolve their current predicament? No. Does it help anyone? No. Was it just random sh*t mouthed off by a sales guy? Yes. Other than that, they could have just left it alone. And they should have. Don't bring in some random callback character just to save the show. And let me reiterate my point from several episodes ago. If they brought that whole fleet through the fold gate, this who situation would have been over. DONE. But noooooo, now there is no fleet. And Ketchup boy? You are now responsible for this. Your planet should be nuked. Just like Mr. LensCrafters™ and Keith "I'm not a Stark" Windermere. You need to die. There is no redeeming quality to you now. Who ever veto'd that idea should be shot. I will share my thought about this later.
  14. Did my quick-viewing. Sit-down viewing will come later. Guess I predicted the data recorder right. Semi-speculation, semi-spoilers. And Mikumo is still rockin' the bondage restraints with Roid touching her hair like a creep now. EWWWWWW.....
  15. The correct translation is that Delta was given a 26-episode run during the scripting-stage of Episode 4, not the production-stage of episode 4. That means they had much more time to actually plan out the story if you think about it.
  16. This topic is a POLL ONLY. Please discuss the series in the series finale thread.

  18. Graham isn't saying Kawamori doesn't know how to supervise a staff. He's saying he jumped ship when his next project was announced and all the Delta staff was left to their own devices. And I will say this again. This show WILL end next week (we'll get to a movie when that happens). How they present that ending to us will be the big question. Will it be a crammed mecha-love fest or will it be just a mess. Looking back on the other TV series, 7 and Frontier both had 2-parter series finales. SDFM had a building-toward-a-finale ending (as in there wasn't much more left to do between episode 35 and 36). The info dumping episode, AGAIN, right before the finale, ruins the pacing as we are approaching our ending.
  19. It's something for older fans but honestly, it doesn't matter. Revealing it doesn't fix the narrative mess that the 2nd half became. In fact, it doesn't even help the overall story because it was our main characters doing all the work to tell the story, which is what it should be. If they need this character to be revealed, I would see that actually hurting the series even more. As stated above, revealing at this point, when there's only 1 episode left, is inconsequential to the story.
  20. Haven't even done a quick-viewing and I can tell this is gonna be a fun episode to bitch about.
