  1. Attachment 2
  2. Right as they split coming at Asuka. It's hard to see and I had to watch it frame-by-frame to catch it. As we see the POV of the Destroids, DD and Nora split off. As Nora pulls off to the right (from the scene POV), you see something come right behind Nora. DD fires off 3 missiles which hit the destroid, throwing a huge fireball into the scene which blankets the image. See images attached:
  3. This is not a opinion thread. This is for Q&A only. Your question is asking for an opinion.
  4. You know they did show a VF or Ghost coming up behind Nora. And considering that DD and Nora were the only ones to make it to Asuka, it could mean that the defense was good enough to hold back the other SVs. And why didn't Roy launch? Probably because they were mounting the armor on him?.... http://www.anime.net/macross/mecha/united_.../vf0/index.html We've known it for quite some time.... Yes it was Nora. It's quite obvious she called for backup while trying to land her half wrecked plane....And considering Shin looks like he's been running for a bit, I would say a good amount of time (like more than 15 minutes) has elasped from the time he ejected.
  5. Let BT run. It will reconnect. As more people connect, the more people will connect to the tracker causing lots of timeouts elsewhere. This is common. Don't worry.
  6. LOL...you should have seen it when we did have it....Where's Milkman....he use to run the channel IIRC...
  7. http://www.dessent.net/btfaq/ Specifically: http://www.dessent.net/btfaq/#speed Basically, open some ports on your firewall if your using a router (like a D-link, Linksys, Netgear, etc....). If that doesn't work, adjust your upload speed. I don't know. Maybe to those people you are connected to..... Either: A) You have a firewall set up and is blocking connections to other people slowing you down. B) You're not connected to lots of people (probably due to [A]). C) You are downloading/uploading something else which is saturating your bandwidth (Always possible). D) You are connected to a bunch of a-holes who all have set their upload rate to 1k and only 2 upload slots (this is highly unlikely/non-existant) or are connected to every modem user out there right now, even the seeder who's seeding with a modem. E) You keep closing and restarting the Bittorrent, causing you to reconnect to peers. If so, stop, just let BT run. F) All of the above. I would check A and C particularly. It is ideal to let BT be the only thing downloading/uploading, but we do not have ideal conditions, ever. In fact, I'm uploading on WinMX right now, very slowly (5k) but still uploading and running BT on episode 3. My highest was 120k down (with the low being 40k) and keeping it at 5k uploading. And yes I have played with port settings on my router to allow BT to run. If you are using an experimental client, do a manual announce and see if you connect to more people. If you do that and still have considerably slow speeds, then see who you are connected to. If you are downloading from only a few people and they happen to be slow uploading, then check your firewall and or proxy. Most likely that is your problem. Beyond that, I would have to check each problem on a case by case basis. edit: I'm done.
  8. Maybe...but it's quite dead in there....
  9. Graham....AFOS....not APHOS.... 2) Perhaps. They seem to have the same sensor eye. 4) Nah, you're not the only one. The cels are definitely CG colored (what isn't these days...) but yeah, I wasn't too fond of the switching either. 6)DD probably would have gotten AFOS as well if Roy didn't interfere. 7) You expect them to have SCUBA gear? On the island which barely has a working generator...One wonders how they even get a TV reception..... 10) Fat chance of that...The golden days of fansubs are gone. No group releases their scripts.
  10. Where do you go to access these settings to change them? I don't see any kind of control panel... Like I said, I'm using 3.3 though, so maybe it's different. To people still using the 3.2.1 experimental client, I suggest downloading this client: http://bt.degreez.net/ It's based on the original experimental client created by Eike Frost, only more features. And it also runs on the 3.3 code-base of the version 3.3 client of Bittorrent created by Bram Cohen. As to the problem of slow downloading. At time of post, a quick check with TorrentSpy indicates there are more than 2000 people downloading with less than 300 seeds. Let's also take into account that some people are downloading via modem or have set their uploads really low. Let's also take into account firewall issues (which also affect speeds). 20k sounds about right....Now to go back and download my Kamen Rider.
  11. You know...there is the "quote" button. I suggest using it as it does help with readability..... To each his own..Well, if it was 45 min a episode, we'd probably have only 4 episodes..... I don't know how much more official you can get with the timeline at the Compendium....
  12. The whole mess started after the crash. The world existed as it did in the 1980s. Up to 1990, things start changing from our time. http://www.anime.net/macross/story/chronol...0000/index.html
  13. And it ain't movin from the area either. The story doesn't look like it's going to space or South Ataria... We still have 2 more episodes...we'll have our answer soon enough. No need to spend time figuring out what those "thingies" are. Concerning Prometheus, yeah well, what are you going to do? So they didn't include her in the series at the moment, no need to cry about it. Concerning mechs: Well, read the timeline. Most Destroids and the VF-1 just started mass production. The only mech I expect to see is the VF-1 at the end, but minus that, the VF-0 and the Cheyenne are just fine. Concerning the blood: Ahh, the plot thickens! Concerning Protoculture: Edgar got the 2-page Cliff Notes from Ms. Turner as to how all this relates to a theory.
  14. http://www.anime.net/macross/story/chronol...2040/index.html Scroll to the bottom....
  15. I don't think I need to mention that they had to put out 2 versions of episode 2 because people ripped them apart with their first release which was...utter crap.
  16. I'll obviously be repeating myself in the future because as people cannot read. EPISODE 4 IS DUE OUT TENTATIVELY DUE IN SPRING 2004.
  17. *cough* http://www.anime.net/macross/production/pr...#strategy_guide
  18. The rounds are chemically fired (aka gunpowder, or equivelent), but mixed into each shell is an oxidizer (aka Oxygen, or something to make the gunpowder ignite). That's pretty much how you'd do it... Which is probably the most likely theory. Now, where did you get the idea that the gunpods are rail guns???
  19. Yes. I did. He wanted to know the size of the missile bays, which is what that image shows. I said nothing about the officiality of them anywhere in either of my posts. I should also note that Nanashi doesn't say anything about the officiality of those internal hardpoints either.
  20. If you'd search, you'd find the answer...... I swear...I have to do all the work for you people... http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BCBA-1334
  21. LOL.... The "G" version is a fan-generated/RPG-generated version of the VF-11. So you can throw it out the window. The VF-11 follows in the line of the VF-1/VF-5000 of multi-purpose fighters. That line allows them to mount mission-specific weapons (usually the normal FAST packs). It was a cheaper alternative to internal weapons-heavy fighters like the VF-4 or the VF-14. I would also look at April II's Feedback entry. http://www.anime.net/macross/feedback/index.html
  22. Which is actually a misconception produced when people watch M7. The controls of the Sound Force were on the slider and movement was read since the instruments were one joint-systems which really work like a joystick. By moving the slider up and down and pressing one of the buttons on the slider, it would produce the same effect if one were to be using the stick and throttle. Now playing that guitar and controlling the VF..that's a whole new ballgame. I do agree with that interpretation (except for Jamming Birds, I'll need to think about that). Listen to some music and see what happens. It's not the music making you sing along with it, or whatever you may do. It's you.
  23. It doesn't quite work like that. It should be: -Macross 7 (Includes M7 Plus!, The Galaxy is Calling Me!, Encore (including Fleet of the Strongest Women)) -Macross Dynamite 7 Macross 7 Plus episodes cover the span of 2030 thru 2045 as they only fill backstory. The Galaxy is Calling Me occurs somewhere between episodes 38 thru 43. Encore would (including Fleet of the Strongest Women) occur between episodes 38-46 if they were to fit within the storyline for M7. Lastly we have Macross Dynamite 7. If you're talking about a production timeline, then it would follow as -Macross 7, Macross 7 Plus (these were made for video release so they would have to have been done during production), Macross 7 Encore! (including Fleet of the Strongest Women) - Again, Fleet of the Strongest Women was included on the video release as a bonus episode so it would have to have been during the end of production to make it to video). -Macross 7: The Galaxy is Calling Me! -Macross Dynamite 7 The Galaxy is Calling Me would have also been done during production of the series to make the September '95 release date.
  24. It's Gundam. You've got 25 years of it to watch. You'll either like one series or you won't. I'd have to agree and say start with SEED. There are much better Gundam series out there but for ultra Gundam newbs...you might be better off with SEED first.
  25. The stock it is! Actually it's the lower half of the stock, kinda. The ammo clip fits into the stock and serves as part of the stock.
