Yeah, I think that question kinda steps over the line. Big time. Like, there's this barrier of common decency right? This guy went through it. Doubled back. Went through it again, and just kept on going. 340424 This guy is either some horny teenage pervoid or a 30-or more-something who got stuck at puberty. 340425 and should be neutered 340428 As I said, it's a tongue-and-cheek question. I don't expect it to be acknowledge...let alone answered....

Those pics are hosted off-site. You are using the "img" tags to post those pics. Those are all attachments. Image attachments are automatically set to generate thumbnails for those attachments. As I said, thumbnail pics are generated when the image is uploaded as an attachment. Images that posted from an off-site location use "img" tags. If you want to not attach a bunch of images in your post but want to post thumbs, use a image hosting service. Most generate a thumbnail pics and provide you with forum "img" posting code.

Which post in particular are you talking about? The forum software automatically generates a thumbnail pic for all attachments. The alternative is using a image hosting service which also generates a thumbnail for posting in forums.

Thankfully, that's not the majority of questions being asked (there are some more intelligent ones). Here are some of those questions will probably get the tongue-&-cheek response. Like this: You have to remember, many people will continue to see Macross through Robotech's eyes. It's all about mechs. When they will see beyond that...well, that's not for you or me to say.

Cut loose some of the looooong threads.
azrael replied to buddhafabio's topic in MW Site News & Member Feedback
That doesn't really help. All you are doing is replacing a long thread with a short thread, so of course the forums load faster...it has less to grab from the database. When you perform a search, the search still has to dig through long and short threads regardless and will end up searchig and returning more threads and be slower on average (you would not notice the speed since computers are fast anyways, but given test conditions and such, then you would notice). -
Official Gundam Plamodel Thread

As I said prototypes. They will probably end up doing the same for the Murasame as they did with Zeta. It's not gonna be a perfect variable, you'll need to swap parts. Anyways...it's a 1/144... You can't expect much. -
Reading and reading comprehension is one issue... Another would be that people don't like to read and watch the screen at the same time. People have trouble processing information like that. One thing I might ask how close to your screen are you? Some shows flash a banner saying "Please watch at a proper distance and in a well lit area." Sometimes, sitting too close, you move your head around to capture the entire image. This is where a dub would come in. And to bring this up a level Roy...people are lazy. Not that they don't want to read or can't read, but they don't want to make the effort. They say "I don't know what their saying so I'll just listen to the dub. It's easier." People don't want to make an effort to read as they watch. They don't want to listen to the original voice and feel the tone of voice used in the original product because of the language barrier. They don't want to read and watch at the same time. They want to focus their attention on the image, i.e. they can't process the all the input. They want the quick and easy way out. Look at how many times people at almost every forum you go to have said, "Use the search button." Think about that and look at our dub vs. sub situation.

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam A New Translation

Hate to break it to all of you but this is indeed the TV-rip from the Bandai Channel. This is not the DVD. The lower right-hand corner has the BC logo. -
Question About Macross Valkyrie 'Reactive' Engines
azrael replied to DeathHammer's topic in Movies and TV Series
We don't know. Yeah, that sounds about right. It would have to since there's no air....unless it has different kind of engine. -

Well, it is a prototype. In any case, I'm not getting it. Not a fan of 1/144s. Too small.... -
Question About Macross Valkyrie 'Reactive' Engines
azrael replied to DeathHammer's topic in Movies and TV Series
Yes, they are fusion, but the yield is much greater than our modern tests with fusion so it's not quite fusion. It's intentionally mentioned that way by the creators. But we can leave it as fusion for clarity's sake. http://www.anime.net/macross/story/encyclo...tion/index.html The reactor would explode...but the yield is really too small to be a like that of a nuke. The reactor would overheat and burn and then as stated, the pressure would be the source of the explosion. -
Super? No. Armored? Yes.

Won't know.... You can make it as painless or as hard as you want. http://www.videohelp.com

Well isn't ADV lucky..... I just prefer to watch any show in the language it was originally made in, be it Japanese, Chinese, Russian, French, Indian, whatever. Dubbing takes out some of the feeling that the original acting had put in. Whether it be lost in translation or lack of skill, the original setting is what I prefer. I could care less if it was dubbed.

The only reason I got the Deluxe edition was because I got an offer for it at the price of the widescreen edition off Amazon.com.

Why Macross 7 never release in the US
azrael replied to DrunkenMaster2's topic in Movies and TV Series
But there's no guarentee. Business-wise, M7 would be a big investment (just to cover all the bases and make sure everyone is happy, that means the licensors and the legal folk) and if the return doesn't look big, then why make the effort. -
Official Gundam Plamodel Thread
azrael replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
That's word from Bandai, when I last heard (around September). They were considering a 1/100 I-Justice. Andy's Murasame and Akatsuki were still on the to-do list (HG 1/144 probably). Haven't heard much more since. -
Official Gundam Plamodel Thread
azrael replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Probably not....for a while. 0083 is coming out with 5.1 audio...but that's about it. Nothing to scream or shout at. Most of the models will be either Seed or Zeta till at least spring or summer 2006. Well, Zeta will be coming out and it will have some improvements from the PG version and the MG Zeta Plus. I'm sure there will be a Super Gundam Mk II to replace the old MG kit. But that might not happen until movie 3 comes. -
...Which is what I did instead of wasting time with the comic menu. I didn't even bother with the comic....

Don't mind the big muscle guy who likes to walk around naked. We try to get him to put on some pants at least but well.... But yes, that ship with the 2 "space ship thingies for its arms" is indeed SDF-2 Megalord. It's not SDF-1 from DYRL?. Although I don't have my copy of Perfect Memory on me, I do remember a picture of SDF-2 in there in full detail. To answer the question.... It is not the SDF-2. SDF-2 was never completed and eventually was re-designed to be Megaroad-01. The SDF-1 from DYRL?, was indeed... the SDF-1. After 2012, SDF-1 was rebuilt and refitted to it's current look (as seen in DYRL?, M+ and MII). The ship in DYRL? is, well for most cases (minus the refit...)...100% SDF-1. So the DYRL? SDF-1 is not the SDF-2. Yes, it was planned to be another SDF. They were kinda building it during SWI. They just never got around to actually finishing it. Groundwork began on the Moon in 2003. Construction stopped somewhere and resumed back in 2012 as Megaroad-01.

You sure thread starter doesn't mean SDF-2 Megalord (later Megaroad-01)? Cuz Perfect Memory has an image of SDF-2 Megalord in there. It doesn't have the DYRL? SDF-1.
