Yzak was promoted and got his own squad by those episodes. In episode 48..or 49, he was already briefing and launching with his squad. After Panama fell and they went back to space, Yzak left Le Crueset's team.

The teaser doesn't really show much for me to comment on. The costume...well I already threw in my comments back on this thread: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=11473 From the official site: Definitely no origin and definitely won't tread on Smallville. This movie appears more to be about Supes finding his place and accepting change. Looking at Bryan Singer's video blogs, I kinda get that feel that this is what the story is about. When they jump to his youth in the teaser, jumping through the corn fields, it looks like he's just beginning to figure out he's different. Then there's the whole Brando dialogue about him being different. Then we get to the present day where the world has been without a Superman for several years, the world has moved on without him. So I get this feeling that this whole movie is about changes and accepting them.

If that isn't Mikimoto's then who's is it?

There is word that Maggie Grace wanted to go into movies, so this is a convenient way to write her off. Also...saves money from calling Ian Somerhalder (Boone) back for her flashbacks...

Which is completely true. And Halo 2 became the Xbox's best seller. But the point I was making was Halo:CE for PC was...well...nothing special when it came out. It plays much better than the Xbox version, but that because the controls are much better (let's face it, people react much faster with keyboard and mouse compared to a gamepad). If the game is sub $20 right now, it wouldn't hurt to get it. I definitely agree there are much better FPS than Halo:CE at this point or even when it came out for PC back then.
-
Well first off, it's Robotech, not Macross. Secondly, this looks like a fan-project.
-
Console FPS also add a delay in enemy reaction time. It somewhere between 2-3 seconds. PC FPS, the delay is around .1-.2 seconds. Halo:CE for PC looked good during production. Then MS bought Bungie and Halo was ported to Xbox. That kinda killed the thrill of Halo for PC. It was almost a year and a half before Halo came for PC so by that time, Halo was actually kinda dated.

You know...if HG actually used that in-joke as a new idea, that would be pretty sad... -
http://news.com.com/2061-11199_3-5942592.html That's hot.

Ain't that the truth. PC-cillin is a good alternative.

Their definitely putting in PG elements into the design. The same was done with Mk. II ver. 2. -
Did I not say so?

Word from the grapevine is, we don't know what that is. That image popped up on 4chan with no username and no source. There is some word that it was Korean fanart. Oh and that crap about Gundam Seed Eternity(?), that was a mistranslation. In that interview, Fukada indicated he and the staff had trouble doing a series with 3 main characters. BTW, here's a Animage interview from Shigeru Morita (script writer) Also there was another interview with Fukada in Newtype (old). http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=41457

Alright let me see... Yeh, there is a problem with the Photo album. First off, there's a image-size upload limit. Secondly, and more importantly, it looks like it wasn't configured right. When Shawn decides to come around again, he'll need to fix it.

Not to derail things too much... Vista would force everyone to update hardware across the board. On the high-end of things, Vista wants 1GB of RAM (2GB for 64-bit machines), PCI-e video cards, and an HDCP-compliant monitor (large and not to mention expensive). Makes me wonder about the low-end specs.... Anyways.... If that's the case, then look at the FX5500 or the 6200. Both are cheap and should last you for the next 12 months. The best thing to do would to just wait till the release date of NWN2 comes closer, then do a larger upgrade (processor, motherboard, RAM, video). NWN2 is a ways away so there's not pressing need to update right now. In a few months, the price of some parts will probably go down and you might get a better deal then as opposed to now. If you don't need it right now and NWN is running fine, then it's best to wait till the system requirements are released. You would be wasting money right now if you went out and got parts for the game in which you don't have a clue what it needs. At this moment, I would hold off on the video. If there are other parts which you want to upgrade (hard drives, DVD-ROM/DVD burner, sound cards, cases, power supplies, etc), get those done now. I would want you to be prepared but at this point, you don't have much to prepare for (no system reqs).

I would consider a Geforce 6600-series. But since you are making only minor upgrades (and from the looks of it, low-to-mid range upgrades) just to bring you up to spec, a 6200 would be fine...but I would definitely think about the 6600. The 5500 would definitely fair better than the 5200 so cross the FX5200 off the list. How much you are willing to pay would fine tune my answer.

Question about the Project Super Nova competition.
azrael replied to Loner's topic in Movies and TV Series
Actually the VF-9 has a couple of big ass lasers mounted on the right shoulder for battroid and gerwalk, roughly where the lasers would be on the VF-1 on fighter mode. 342562[/snapback] You're right, forgot about those. I take that back then, ALL VFs have integrated weaponry. -
Fine, I'll try to put this thread back on track with my favorite scenes. Silvie's bouncing boobs was a interesting scene. The Metal Siren's attack in episode 5 was good fast-paced scene. The slow-paning shots of Ishtar's body as well. That's all I can think of.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

With those deleted scenes, Lucas was trying to keep the focus on Anakin. Those scenes would have been good for backstory but it would have moved away from Anakin. Maybe he'll bring them back in the Prequel Special Edition. -
Yeh...

The last thing I would want in a Macross series is a remake of another Macross story....

They might have collapsed the shield for display. Well, they're going with the colors from the movie. And those are a bit brighter than the anime version. But recoloring it is completely up to you. http://www.z-gundam.net/ms/aeug.html#1 -
Not another game-to-movie.... Even with Jackson coming on as producer for Halo....I'm not really impressed.

Question about the Project Super Nova competition.
azrael replied to Loner's topic in Movies and TV Series
Animation error. Those shots were coming from the cannons in the wing root. Just because you don't see it in action, doesn't mean it's not there. Actually, that was a leftover Monster that was used to test the penetration of the experimental arm-block cannon. Ask and ye shall receive. http://www.anime.net/macross/mecha/united_...yf19/index.html JB0...you can deal with him. Oh, and JB0...you are correct. Almost every VF (that we have seen) has had some integrated weaponry. From a little head-laser to arm-mounted beam cannons to integrated missile hardpoints. The only one that comes to mind that doesn't contain any is the VF-9. However, we don't have many specs on that craft, so we can only speculate at best with just the VF-9. -
They never disavowed it. Studio Nue never worked on it so really, there's nothing to disavow. They set it in a parallel world like the non-UC Gundam since Studio Nue never worked on it. Mikimoto doesn't count as being part of Studio Nue since he left the group in 1980 and joined Artland. Studio Nue still recognizes it as Macross and that it was done, but it's not part of the official timeline of the series. As the character designer, Mikimoto just does designs and still-art. He doesn't animate. It is the job of the animators to take his designs and put them on screen.
