  1. Same processor as last previous but with a spec bump. Reminiscent of the Core i9 9900K, 9900KF, and 9900KS.
  2. AMD To Launch New Ryzen 3000 XT CPUs: Zen 2 with More MHz AMD...did you just pull an Intel???
  3. Built on the Frostbite-engine...So they forked the Starfighter Assault-game mode and made an entire game out of it. But yeah, 5v5 seems half-assed.
  4. Effective for maybe the RT business model. But with a crowd of what...20-30 people per convention visit, and probably the same 20-30 people, I question the effectiveness. Like I said, with the convention circuit effectively dead this year, they might as well start doing press releases. But since it's radio silence, I'll just assume there's nothing to talk about.
  5. Frankly, it doesn't stop them from doing press releases. Any chance of a in-person convention this year is a pipe-dream. Unless you want to get sick.
  6. Nvidia has always held the crown on performance. Their problem is, due to their weird pricing, it’s now premium performance. RTX cards are not cheap. It’s not hurting Nvidia, but given the current climate, people are going to think twice once the sticker shock kicks in. Radeon is more worth it on the budget to mid-range. AMD’s next line of APUs have sparked my interest though. I’m looking to update my ITX build and leaks of Team Red’s next APUs has caught my eye.
  7. Intel shows its cards this year with the release of Core i9-10900K, i7-10700K, i5-10600K. Still at 14nm and now sucking down more power now. Only marginally beating AMD here or there.
  8. TV Line is reporting a similar story; rough shooting schedule was a major factor. Long (and likely late) shooting hours of TV show while working out of Vancouver. The report says the injury wasn't a factor, but I would say the rigors of shooting a TV show do not lend time to recover from the injury making her more unhappy. Most network shows film for 8 months out of the year so there isn't much recovery time in there. It's not like sports where if you are injured, you are out for a whole season. They can't "substitute" an actor for a season.
  9. Deadline is reporting the rough shooting schedule might be the reason. Could have been she wanted more money given to cover hazard pay seeing as she injured herself on-set this season.
  10. They'll run into some Klingons at some point. What they Klingons should have are smaller to zero forehead ridges.
  11. I would have expected the announcement around Computex (June) with the release during the summer. Given the circumstances, it's probably going to be a summer announcement and autumn release. As much as it's time for a graphics upgrade, I'm interested to see what AMD's processors look like this year.
  12. I would think the wireless of a MX Keys would be a bigger factor than the actual key mechanism. I use to game on a K350 and had no issues. That mushy-ness is because of the membrane/rubber-dome. Yes it makes for quieter keystroke and is better for the office. You still have to bottom out the key but there's padding when you bottom out. Me? It took me a while but I found out my key of choice is a MX Brown switch. After my K350, I first tried a Logitech G 900-something keyboard and hated that thing. Then I tried a MS Sidewinder(?) keyboard with membrane switches and was low-profile. Hated it. Sent it back in under a week. Then I tried a MX Brown mechanical and felt good with it until a light went out. Then I moved to a MX Red. Hated it. I can see why twitch gamers like it but since I type more, that one didn't last long. MX Reds are not for typists. Been on a Roccat Vulcan and their Brown-switch since then.
  13. Without being able to try stuff in-store for the time being, MX Keys is probably your best bet or the K750. I used a K750 (before my coffee mug happened to have landed on it, breaking the glass on the solar panel...) and it was basically a chiclet keyboard. How good is the MX Keys for gaming? Don't know.
  14. It's May 4th somewhere... Clone Wars was never really about hope. That belongs to the Skywalkers. The sadness....well there really wasn't much more to say. After years of fighting, all the comradery, that pretty much died with Order 66 and this ending puts it right front and center. It's just gone and that's what I got out of this ending cuz that's what happened with Order 66.
  15. I don't think it needs one. Rebels ended where it should have with the liberation of Lothal. It finished the story of the characters presented. With Clone Wars, it's ending the story of the clones and Ahsoka, which is what I would want it to end on.
  16. The music choice wasn't bad, but I wish they used the exact soundtrack ("Anakin's Betrayal" for those with the Ep 3 soundtrack). To paraphrase a YT comment, Order 66 never felt as bad until Clone Wars gave the clones personalities and watching it now really drives a nail into the heart.
  17. Looks ok, but good gawd, the stuttering....
  18. Figured it was. There was a certain fluidity to the scene which can only be done by really people, i.e. mo-cap.
  19. They are much farther along than I thought, running parallel to Episode 3 so yeah, it will be interesting how the next 2 episodes play out.
  20. I know...kids these days and their Discord-Tik-Tokin-whipper snappers...
  21. I actually have a 2018 Macbook Air for a work laptop, supplementing my work desktop. Honestly, I don't mind the 2 Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports. I haven't run into a situation where I actually need both ports active. It's lightweight, has a work-suitable screen and resolution (bonus points for being a 16:10 screen). Processor is fine for what I use it for. I would definitely trade it for a better keyboard, but I haven't had at situation where I've had to push this little thing that hard. iGPUs are good enough for every day tasks of web, email, or media consumption where you don't need a discrete graphics card. A Ryzen 4900HS vs a i5-1060NG7 is a hands-down win for Ryzen. But that's comparing 2 different classes of CPUs. The Ryzen is a 35W TDP designed for all-around use cases while the i5 is a 10W TDP designed for low wattage systems. Back to the thread at hand, I'm working at home currently so gaming is pretty much a no-go for a while.
  22. Neal Adams-ish and very Year 1-ish. Hopefully the black...tank comes in the next movie.
