1. Shouldn't it have only four fingers? 403692 Someone actually did it???? Here's the original pic: And some more magazine scans:
2. sketchley, JB0.....i don't need you 2 screaming when I'm having my morning coffee. Take your translation complaints elsewhere.
3. It happens with nearly all shows that air weekly. Due to time an budgetary constraints, studios can only animate so many scenes at any given time. So, the animation is farmed out to other animation groups (domestic or overseas). This leads to the varying quality of weekly TV shows. The opposite is true for OAVs and movies. OAVs and movies rely on 1 group of animators, so quality control is much tighter. Since time constraints are much more relaxed with OAVs and movies, they don't need to use other animation studios. TV shows can get around this problem by reducing the length of the show or, air episodes on a scattered format (like 2 episodes/month).
4. Let me guess..a actual trailer and an actual release date?
5. As Ron Moore said... "Frak" is as close as we can get to having the F-word on TV (or in this case, a forum. I don't know about you, but I find myself cussing less and less these days.
6. We attempt to maintain a PG-rating/work-friendly place around here.
7. Do you want us to lock it??? A 120MB file....even at work that would take a while....
8. Skull looks more Texeira or Garney than McFarlane to me, and I hope that isn't supposed to be the cowboy ghost rider, since it would be horribly inaccurate considering he never had supernatural powers. 402264 Looks like they mixed in the Old West GR for the movie.
9. Okay.....ummm, so....is that how their gonna leave us this season? I don't get it....was that the season finale? Not much of a cliff-hanger...
10. I'm with Graham....something about that skull don't look right... Otherwise...the international trailer is better. I still don't plan to watch it....
11. How about the actual teaser and international trailers.... http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/ghostrider/ Enjoy.
12. Small nitpick... It's just VF-5000. No "Star Mirage". http://macross.anime.net/mecha/united_nati...5000/index.html 401557 Not according to the Macross Design Works book, page 20... "starmirage" 401568 Yes, I know. But it's still a nickname, not its official designation.
13. Small nitpick... It's just VF-5000. No "Star Mirage". http://macross.anime.net/mecha/united_nati...5000/index.html
14. Scans for 1/100 Gold Frame Amatu, HGUC GP02, and MG F91 Re-uploaded scan of MG F91. Try now.
15. Mars Jacket???? You have got to be kidding me. If enough people want it, HG 1/144. 1/100 Akatsuki.....only if there is a need for more bling than Hyaku Shiki, Gold Frame, and the 1/144 Akatsuki. PG IJ or SF....Wasn't the 1/60 HG enough???? The dark side clouds Macross toys.
16. Trailer 2: http://pdl.warnerbros.com/wbol/uk/movies/s...lrf3_qt_500.mov
17. Didn't read March's review.....don't think I want to anyways....for some reason, this film just doesn't click for me. Probably because I'm waiting for X3 and Supes. Maybe I'll just read the book.
18. The YF-21 does not have internal pallets like those listed on the VF-22. Those weapon bays are exclusive to the VF-22. I should note that as the YF-21, it is not the final version. The YF-19 has an internal pallet as we saw very clearly saw. Those hardpoints were mission-variable. The YF-21 and the YF-19 both have their advantages and disadvantages, which I will not go into as it was done in an earlier thread. And the VF-11(A thru D), does not have internal hardpoints. That was an animation mistake on the animators part.
19. This is, unfortunately, speculation (i.e. start a thread). The only thing we do know is that the cost of a VF-1 is 20-times that of a standard Destroid. So, find out how much a standard Destroid costs and then you'll have a rough answer to how much a VF-1 costs. As for a VF-22, I don't even think we can even guess since it has about 40 years of new technology to think about.
20. Unfortunately, that MG F90 was for "exhibit only" at the Shizuoka Hobby Show. Depending on the response, will probably define whether or not we will see a MG/HCM.
21. Hummm...someone actually remembed my quoting of a possible Gold Frame...I need to make more predictions.... Here's a related thread for the new products: http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=41259 (scroll down for pics) http://pam.main.jp/ Box art for Strike Noir and Legend are also out. Here's the listing from Gunota Interesting to see polycap-less construction on the MG F91.
22. MSG, Zeta, 0083, 0080, CCA, 8thMS Team, and F91 are avaliable. Individual releases (except for Zeta) are going to be hard to look for. 0080 and/or 0083 are available in a boxset. At this point, you should probably just shop online. DVDPlanet.com, DVDEmpire.com, Rightstuf.com, Twin Moons.com, Animenation.com, etc...When last I checked, the only things Gundam I found where Zeta and Seed in stores. Good luck.
