    Wait a sec... I may be mistaken, but I thought MW DID have an Off Topic Forum a long time ago. That was eventually dropped and The Longest Thread became a psuedo-replacement. Then again, I may be wrong. 416989[/snapback] We did until it became filled with politics and religion...Shawn got very angry at us and limited the talk to "geek talk". It's been like that ever since. Our attempt to remedy that was to make the Longest thread (we also did that to test how much the forum system could take, which back in the days of Perl/CGI forums, we were pushing it) We let it go on, and on, and on, and then someone said the wrong thing, someone replied to it, and the rest is history.

    This will probably open the door for more animated shorts (including Gundam) to the web. It looks like Stargazer will be received well, so who knows, maybe they'll animated some Astray shorts...but I doubt it.

    I don't see it anymore so I take it it's gone.... Unfortunately, Shawn appears to have messed with the tables because instead of seeing seperate tables, I see 1 big table beneath the MW banner.

    Quality is better since the release schedule is not weekly and more OAV-ish being released on a monthly schedule with the DVD coming in November. The reason behind this is mostly because Bandai wants to try to post content directly to the web instead of releasing it to home video/theaters/TV, or so I've heard. Running at 15 minutes is fine for streaming media. Any longer and you might as well buy it off iTunes.

    1) The Achisio District is an add-on district. New Macross-class colony ships (The City unit that is) does have docking points for additional districts that can be mounted outside the shell. The Event Dome is also another add-on. These add-on units allow for additional features to the City environment should they not be provided by other venues or additional venues provided closer to the City units. 2) The POV may not have been on the affected area. I'll have to rewatch the episode though. 3) Colony fleets travel the galaxy charting space in search of planets, civilizations, etc...the whole Star Trek motif. They can't really do that while folding now can they. In addition to looking for planets to colonize, they do scientific explorations of the galaxy. Lots of things probably have changed since the Zentradi visited those areas. It's worth it to them, to take a look.

    First off, yes, licensee can view the product before they sign a contract. The only reason why this thread has diverged is because A) very few people have seen the product and/or they are not speaking up. There was a panel for it at AX2006, there must have been some news on it at the panel. Where is that news? B) we've seen all the vids and we've talked about it, but now where is the product? We need a product to comment on. That is possible. But something like that would mean that the distributor would be compensated for the cost of obtaining the license. Now, one thing that didn't occur to me is maybe HG is trying to distribute this themselves.

    No. Licensing doesn't work that way with bankruptcy (I'll leave that for a larger, well known thread). Roy has a point. RT is 20 years old. Very few people in the current crowd of anime freaks know about RT. If ADV has decided to not pick up this title yet...then there's something suspicious about it. A)Is HG charging too much for distribution (alternatively, do companies not want to pay for the costs of distributing it) or B) will this little show not make the money to re-coup everybody's losses when we look at the numbers? How long is this thing gonna appear at film festivals instead of on people's video collection shelves?

    Short answer: Hell yes. Most likely they were hammering out the details when it was announced at AX. But yes, the Zeta movies are licensed and will have an R1 release. At least there won't be a music license issue with the movies.

    There's lots of stories to tell...but we'll save those for another show... Well...we know he has a wife, Miho. He served with Admiral Hayase during the war, and was captain of an Oberth-class space destroyer (Goddard). Claudia was the most experienced out of all of them. Misa just entered the academy right about the time the Unification Wars started. Claudia was already a tower operator by the time she met Roy. Max is European. Either he moved to South Ataria or he was visiting the island during SDF-1's launch.

It's not the first time something has been labeled strangely. Consider the "mouse" you are using to move that little cursor on your screen... Doesn't look like (modern computer mice) or act like a rodent does it? Mine's has a bright red light on the bottom. Surely rodents don't come with that now do they? But hey, we still call it a "mouse".

Translation of description: Some notes from Mark Simmons (of the former Gundam Project.com) Some have noted that Stargazer's lack of armor covering may truely mean that it is not really for military use.
