1. Hardest substance known to man 420400 Are you sure it was rice crispy squares? Even with the weight Monster on it? Now if you said 100 year old fruit cake...then I'd believe you.
2. Crap...forgot to order it. The Capt. Harison re-paint......Everything looks good until we get to the feet....Yellow feet just doesn't ring with me.
3. That's the most likely case. The M5 fleet probably won't have broadcasted that they found a suitable planet to colonize if they didn't send in a survey party before hand.
4. Thankfully someone mirrored it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqqQ0F4OEys In case YouTube brings that one down, here's the thread from Superhero Hype.com http://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=243793
5. Better but still out of focus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuEE6n4R8Xs
6. But but but....they had Doomsday in JLU...
7. I think you're right. Really, I can't fault him for it. Can't expect the guy to keep churning out the same kind of stories over and over again, that'll get boring. People change over time, and as a result their work is going to change too. As for a direct continuation to the original series, it's never going to happen. Fans really need to accept that and move on. 418663 People need to get over the fact that Kawamori isn't going to do Macross like Tomino did Gundam. He isn't the kind of guy who is going to pump out sequels every few years. Otherwise he might end up like Tomino, never ever want to see Macross again, and only use it to get money for another project. If we had Macross every few years, we would end up just like the Gundam kids; UC vs AU, My Gundam is more powerful than your Gundam, blah blah blah.
8. I have a feeling they will draw some aspects from "The Killing Joke". At least the origin aspects.
9. This is the best I can find right now: http://s79.photobucket.com/player_local.sw...ucket.com/&ap=1 Those of you who went to the panel @ ComicCon...Did you get a better look? http://www.superherohype.com/news.php?id=4553 http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=23949
10. So how much did Funmation offer them for it? How much is HG getting in return?

12. I'll care more when Nolan actually starts pre-production for BB2.
13. I just noticed...All the subject headers are adjusted right....in Firefox and Opera.
14. As I said in the other thread, that's what MySpace is for.
15. Really? I remember the bible stuff and the guy brought it up a few other times as well and no one cared until someone responded to him, argued with him, and then it was brought up as an issue when he won't shut up about it. Shawn then prohibited all talk of religion and politics.
16. Wait a sec... I may be mistaken, but I thought MW DID have an Off Topic Forum a long time ago. That was eventually dropped and The Longest Thread became a psuedo-replacement. Then again, I may be wrong. 416989 We did until it became filled with politics and religion...Shawn got very angry at us and limited the talk to "geek talk". It's been like that ever since. Our attempt to remedy that was to make the Longest thread (we also did that to test how much the forum system could take, which back in the days of Perl/CGI forums, we were pushing it) We let it go on, and on, and on, and then someone said the wrong thing, someone replied to it, and the rest is history.
17. Look Here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=19545 And we did have an off-topic thread, the Longest thread. In the end, it didn't work thanks to 2 people.
18. It's a dupe? Ok.
19. This will probably open the door for more animated shorts (including Gundam) to the web. It looks like Stargazer will be received well, so who knows, maybe they'll animated some Astray shorts...but I doubt it.
20. I don't see it anymore so I take it it's gone.... Unfortunately, Shawn appears to have messed with the tables because instead of seeing seperate tables, I see 1 big table beneath the MW banner.
21. Quality is better since the release schedule is not weekly and more OAV-ish being released on a monthly schedule with the DVD coming in November. The reason behind this is mostly because Bandai wants to try to post content directly to the web instead of releasing it to home video/theaters/TV, or so I've heard. Running at 15 minutes is fine for streaming media. Any longer and you might as well buy it off iTunes.
22. Which begs the question -- what posessed them to decide they needed a slum added on? 416290 Cuz it makes a great place to blast music in???? Ask Kawamori or Miyatake (Miyatake designed it...).
23. 1) The Achisio District is an add-on district. New Macross-class colony ships (The City unit that is) does have docking points for additional districts that can be mounted outside the shell. The Event Dome is also another add-on. These add-on units allow for additional features to the City environment should they not be provided by other venues or additional venues provided closer to the City units. 2) The POV may not have been on the affected area. I'll have to rewatch the episode though. 3) Colony fleets travel the galaxy charting space in search of planets, civilizations, etc...the whole Star Trek motif. They can't really do that while folding now can they. In addition to looking for planets to colonize, they do scientific explorations of the galaxy. Lots of things probably have changed since the Zentradi visited those areas. It's worth it to them, to take a look.
