Gits: Sac To Return For A 3rd Season.
azrael replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I have the raw for this....It feels like a very long episode. BTW, it's licensed already. The DVD is due out next summer. It will probably hit the convention screening rooms as well. So those of you planning at being at a convention next year will see it on the big screen. -
Here's the teaser poster with the Adi Granov-design suit for reference. The helmet in those pics look too rounded.

mmmmmmmmmmmm Soylent Green.....

That's a fair place to point blame at. Berman was with TNG and DS9 since the beginning so he was doing something right with those 2. What happened with Voyager and Enterprise would fall around the time UPN took over broadcast of the Star Trek series. First Contact was done right as well and Berman was in charge of that.

It's that time again.

From Gunota: http://aeug.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_aeug_a...816112131704564 I wonder if this could mean that they'll start looking at MG V or X models if their looking at MSiAs for those series....

I've been hearing that Star Wars remark a lot about this update. But from what I've read, most of their work will only be the starship/space VFX.

Some words from Chris Nolan about the next film. http://www.betterthanfudge.com/?p=925

Rather than waste space around here, here's the thread with all the upcoming Gunpla: http://www.toysdaily.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=51587

The script is gonna have to do some serious work to make me watch it... Megatron needs a gun. A really muthaf*ckin Big F*ckin Gun. I see no gun anywhere on that drawing. He needs a gun or that ain't Megatron. He looks complicated too.

Well, I can see where this will be going.... If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. This goes to everybody. dodiano, sorry but this has absolutely nothing to do with you or your thread.

sketchley has a good point here. There's much more, much, much more than anybody could possibly list. And since there is still stuff over in Japan that may or may not see the light in the States, you will probably never get a real answer to this question. And since we are running on opinions here, one person may like one show while others may hate it. I agree that you should start with 1 or 2 genres and work on those first before you venture to a different one. It will be easier on your wallet and will give you a much better feel for certain themes and styles within that genre as you go through it. And as I always say, watch it yourself because the only way you know if you'll like it is if you watch it yourself.

The original IWSP came with a HG 1/144 Strike Rouge. I guess there's been enough demand for a larger IWSP.
-
Sorry...no redesigned S-Freedom...yet. But we do get this (from Gunota): MG GAT-X105 Strike Gundam IWSP - w/ Grand Slam, October, 4,410 yen HGUC Char's Gelgoog - October, 1,575 yen HCM-Pro Nu Gundam - October, 2,940 yen Destiny MSV MBF-P01-Re2 Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatu Mina (Okitsunokagami equipment type) - Offense/defense beam shield equipment. If no one remembers, the Grand Slam is the big sword that comes with the PG Strike.

Well, the story is one thing to which I'll see, when I'll see it...but the designs are turning me off. BTW, a little blurb from SHH: http://www.superherohype.com/news/transfor...ews.php?id=4660 The last one is good enough for me. Also leaves me a way to quietly not involve myself in any conversation involving the originals compared to these awful designs.

This is OT. Maybe someone else will lock it, cuz it's just it really has nothing to do with RT either...just somone truncating Britain and Britai....

I think the Tachikomas are the 1/24 kits (already out). http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVKK-01 The tank is just shown in-relation-to the 1/24 kits.

Ah Mesarion...When he first posted I-Justice on Ebay, it went for atleast $300 US. He does give me lots of good ideas for my kits... BEE-CRAFT is Junichi Akutsu. He's a designer for lots of Gunpla. He's been using the pseudonym BEE-CRAFT to do detailed drawings of many designs from Gundam and making them a a bit more, model friendly. He's even taken some of Katoki's redesigns and adapted them. He is one of the mecha designers in SEED.

Judging by kits released so far, I think Bandai is testing the waters with BEE-Craft entering into the 1/100s (And probably looking at BEE-Craft doing the redesigns of all Gunpla HG 1/144 and up). This could also account for why we haven't seen too many GSD kits. BEE-Craft is cleaning them all up from the original lineart (the lineart isn't the best for making models). They are also testing out their work in animation (Stargazer). I'm surprised we still haven't seen anything from Destiny Astray or Delta Astray yet. A 1/100 Gaia has a good chance (I remember there was talk about it but that was when I-Justice was still being looked into).

Customs. Looks like Resin kits. Say "Please". Kids these days...no manners. Custom/Scratch-built.

Looks like GSX-401FW Stargazer HG 1/144 is also in the works. Now to go grab MG F91 and Hyaku Shiki w/Ballute and HG Strike Noir....*checks wallet*

TFW2005.com is getting hammered. Here are a few more. http://flickr.com/photos/lights Yes, they made a full size Bumblebee. Reportedly, he is the only one they made a complete version of. Everybody else is a CG robot. That is also Megatron...from the waist down. The thing at the top, hanging from the ceiling is the reference point for his head (for the actors). Incinerator (the helicopter) is Blackout. This was mentioned in the webcast that Blackout is a transport. I'm not really liking what I see. It's fine if they want them "real", but with all those exposed parts, they are entering the ugly zone. And they look flumsy with all those parts exposed.

As I said here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...ndpost&p=426196 They ran into design and mass shifting problems, so they opted to fix the appearing and disappearing mass problem by changing them into different vehicles. Obviously the VW Beetle was just to small for them so they opted to change Bumblebee to a Camero. They are well aware that people are not happy with this. The same goes for Soundwave. In the original series, Soundwave was a tape deck. And he goes from a small object to this large Decepticon. The producers didn't want to deal with the mass shifting again so they patterned him after Frenzy. Eventually, as they went through the script, Soundwave became less and less Soundwave-like so they opted to remove him completely and stuck with Frenzy. From the webcast, they liked the idea of a scout for the Decepticons and Frenzy was small enough to fit that role so the Soundwave was dropped and Frenzy was permanently in.
